슈가 로프 로지(Sugarloaf Lodge)

Mid-century property maintained fairly well (pretty much like the rest of the Keys). A couple of minor maintenance issues that the staff handled promptly. We'd stay there again.

It was adequate. The property is very dated (and it could do with a bit more water pressure), but it was reasonably comfortable. The staff were a bit gruff at check-in, but it went without any dramas. The restaurant was fantastic. All in all, it's a bit run down but it works for a place to stay in the keys. The price seemed high for what was delivered, but I don't have a frame of reference for how pricey the surrounding area is. I wouldn't strongly recommend it, but I wouldn't not recommend it either. It's adequate.

The refrigerator was not cleaned (there were spills and part of a pub sub sticker left in it. There was also a half used shampoo bottle on the shower. The external door is not sealed (you can see daylight below it, so bugs can and did get in. The parking lot had cocoplum trees that were evidently dropping fruit but we didn’t know until the morning when we came out to a bunch of brown chunks all over the hood of the car. It looked like a bunch of poop. There weren’t any lights at the pool but I could t hold my kid back from getting in. A little while later a light inside the pool was turned on.

No Wifi, despite being given a password -- no connection/network in room. Nice view. Great dinner. There were bugs (ants) in the room.

Very nice lady at the front desk. She switched me rooms when i was stuck between two noisy rooms.

This lodge was very easy to find and the staff was very pleasant. I found the rooms to be spacious, and the scenery was very nice. The cleanliness was excellent, and the beds are very comfortable! My only thing was, I'm a smoker, and the ashtray outside was not clean, but that is my only "complaint ". Otherwise, I'd definitely stay there again!

Great view, but little outdated hotel. Room was very large. Clean and quiet location. Good value.

Every time we stepped into the bathroom, water came up between the floor tiles. Cleaning staff were arguing amongst themselves and often items were missed. They didn’t even knock before entering the room.

We loved it! Very nice room, wonderful staff. Clean, quiet and a great view of the water and horizon. Thank you all!
