Nice enough hotel, though on the small side. Parking is also limited and pricey at £7 per 24 hours, paid in advance. We had a 3 night stay in a Premier Plus room. We would have stayed an extra night but weren't prepared to pay the extortionate £197.50 that they were asking. The Plus room was nice and quiet, with triple glazed windows. Whilst it had many nice touches and redeemable features, the pokey double bed was a let down. Premier Inn built their reputation on King sized Hypnos beds, guaranteeing a good night's sleep. It has been noticeable that they have downsized over the years. This is totally unacceptable. Realistically all the rooms in all their hotels should be done to this standard, without additional charges. By today's standards, King sized beds are so yesterday. Most of the main hotel chains now have super king beds, offering spacious comfort. They also need to get over their tightness with wi fi. The Plus rooms have ultimate wi fi for up to 3 devices. You get a different code for each day of your stay. It only worked for 1 device and we had to revisit reception to get a code for the 2nd device. Twice the codes didn't work, involving further trips to reception. Get your act together. Everyone should get top quality high speed wi fi free of charge and once you have signed in, it should automatically connect, whenever you enter the building, like their neighbours opposite at the Holiday Inn Express. Overall a decent enough hotel, spoiled by tight penny pinching measures.
