Really enjoyed our stay, Maurice was very friendly and helpful. The room was a bit small, but impeccably clean and the breakfast was outstanding! Great location only a short walk from the town centre. We will definitely stay there again when we next visit Stratford.

This was our first visit to Stratford and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Morris at the Moonraker house. I booked a small double as that was all that was available, but it was perfectly fine for a 2 night stay. The room was at the back and we couldn't hear any noise at all. the bed was comfortable with excellent quality bed linen and pillows. There was a flat screen tv, a hairdryer and tea/coffee/water and biscuits supplied in the room. The shower had plenty of pressure, the water was hot and toiletries were supplied. the towels were sparkling white and fluffy. There was a choice of food for breakfast which was freshly cooked, tasty and hot. The on site parking is a bonus and we were able to leave our car until the afternoon on check out day. There isn't much in the immediate vicinity but a 10/15 m walk takes you into the middle of town. Would we stay again, most definitely.

Had a great stay in the Moonraker Guest House. Morris is a wonderful host and cannot do enough to make your stay fantastic. We booked the ground floor bedroom with a four poster bed and it was really nice. Good shower, plenty of storage and very clean. Breakfast both mornings was very tasty and nothing too much trouble. Only ten minutes from town centre with excellent free parking. Will definitely return. Thank you Morris from Paul & Sarah

Liked · A fantastic B+B with a fantastic host Maurice who couldn't do enough to make sure you were comfortable. He is warm, friendly and courteous and nothing is too much trouble. I had a comfortable single room with (tiny) ensuite which had everything I needed for a couple of nights and breakfast was served and ready when I wanted it. He also let me stay a little over the (rather early) checkout time when I was still feeling a little tender from the night before. It's a great place to stay close to town and the train station. There's a large Morrisons next door for any supplies you need to, I'd stay here again and give money to this local business. Disliked · I think the room is in need of some redecoration as there was wallpaper peeling off and just looked a little tired. But this is really nitpicking. The road is a bit noisy but the traffic calms down before bedtime and it's double glazed so it wasn't an issue. I would have liked a bit more on my plate for breakfast, some baked beans are always welcome... but it was delicious.

Mooraker House is lovely. It is spotlessly clean, comfortable and with the added bonus of its own private parking! It is well located to walk into town (15 min at a slow pace), for all the Stratford attractions. The room we had was nicely equipped with everything we needed, including a fan for coping with the 'muggy weather' outside! Morris was very welcoming and we loved the fact that he knew who we were and our names from the moment we arrived. A lovely man The cooked breakfast was amazing and more than enough to set you up for the day! Thank you Morris, we will be back!

Wonderful little guest house, welcoming and peaceful. Morris as a host is fabulous and accommodating. Lovely breakfast. Lovely rooms very well equipped and comfortable. Nothing was any trouble and the atmosphere very friendly. Highly recommended

Very small double bedroom, clean and comfortable, very warm. Lovely breakfast, lovely couple that manage the place. Free parking. 20 minute walk to the river, 10 minute walk to town. Good value for money.
