더 K 클럽(The K Club)

We really enjoyed our visit to The K Club. It was so relaxing and had a lovely atmosphere. The staff were so helpful and courteous.

There were 6 of us in the group visiting for a golf weekend. We arrived on Saturday lunchtime and couldn't check in prior to playing golf as we had a 2.50pm tee time on the Palmer South course, however the reception were happy to store our luggage whilst we went for a round of golf. The only problem was somewhere to change for golf without being able to check in, but i made use of the toilets to change in so it was fine. We played a round on both the south course on Saturday and a round on the north course on the Sunday which are the 2 courses located at the K club. The south course was nice and a true test of golf but the North course is next level, we expected this being the Ryder cup venue and it was a real treat We had dinner at the south clubhouse on the first night and the green Thai curry i had was delicious, we then ate at the North clubhouse on the 2nd night and the Lamb Shank was again delicious The pub in the village called the Straffan Inn is owned by the hotel too and the hotel offer to take you to the pub and pick you up again afterwards which is worth doing. The pub is a nice friendly place and the locals are very friendly and interested to hear your views on the K Club and its courses Breakfast is also good and the staff look after you well. the hotel itself is a grand place and worth taking the time to walk around its beautiful gardens. It has plenty of choice for dinner and drinks all of which we experienced were great and the Guinness as you would expect in Ireland was fantastic, or 'Mothers milk' as described by some locals The rooms were spacious and comfortable with great showers We only stayed the 2 nights but we were looked after very well by all the staff and all 6 of us really enjoyed our visit to the K Club We also played a round at Portmarnock Golf Club on Monday before we went to the airport which is a fantastic golf course and highly recommended

We stayed here recently to celebrate an event. We had a beautiful room and it everything - tea coffee maker etc. Dinner was lovely and I had beautiful fish. Breakfast was a bit of a disappointment as the selection of fruit, yogurt was not great.

This is an excellent hotel, great facilities, very well presented and a great place to stay. We stayed for a weekend using Amex FHR and availed of the early checking, late checkout and superb breakfast. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed just after Easter and there were live chicks in a cage in the main reception - very good for kids and a nice touch to make the place feel more homely. The setting by the river is lovely - we had an upgrade to a river view room and the view was very nice, river and golf course. The room was very plush with nice fruit in a bowl plus a coffee machine and some snacks. The bathroom a large with bath and shower and very nice toiletries. The restaurant is used for breakfast and dinner and we found both to be excellent Breakfast is either table service or buffet style - whatever suits you better. Dinner was expensive but the food is of the highest quality. The extensive grounds are great for walking around if that’s your thing, with paved paths and gravel forest trails. Overall a great stay and we’d love to return

Recently stayed and attended a wedding in Palmer South. The whole wedding experience was excellent from food to service. All staff members we encountered were effortlessly welcoming and professional. Breakfast next morning was top notch and walk around the grounds before heading home was a great way to finish a quick stay. Megan in reservations was brilliant to deal with, was so helpful. Also Cesar in guest relations was great fun and has a great way about him. Both are a credit to the hotel. Thank you for a great stay.

We recently got married in the legacy suite in the Kclub. I couldn’t recommend the Kclub highly enough for anyone looking for a wedding venue. The main hotel for the reception drinks was fabulous. Our guests then walked down to the ballroom with some surprise cocktails on the beautiful walkway. Our guests were left in awe after our day. Lorne, Jason and their team were outstanding. Anything we asked for wasn’t a problem. Pat and the men on the door provided the best welcome. The food and service were fantastic and all of the little extras gave our wedding day the WOW effect. The Kclub is without doubt one of the best wedding venues in Ireland. Thank you so much for giving us our dream weekend. Ciara & Sushil

We had a fab stay in the K club over the weekend. On the Saturday I had a look in the pro shop in the south course. Charlie who served me was very friendly and attentive. He suggested areas of interest around the resort, a great asset to the resort. The meal was excellent in the Palmer and the staff were extremely friendly. The rooms were spacious and cosy. Will definitely be returning again.

We had two wonderful days in the K club. The staff couldn't do enough for you. Special thanks to Tony Murry the guest relations manager who went above and beyond to make our stay a special one. The room was lovely. Bed was fabulous. I normally don't sleep well in hotels but slept like a baby both nights. Can't wait to go back. Mirjam & Mark

We went on a President’s Club excursion. Absolutely magnificent location. Our concierge, Tony will literally run a mile to get you anything you need! Really wonderful and relaxing. You will love it!
