아웃바운드 스토우(Town & Country Stowe)

The hotel is closed for renovations. Nobody contacted me prior to arrival to let me know that. Luckily we got a reservation at another property in a matter of minutes.

Staff was very friendly and main lobby was great. Our room (room 17) unfortunately was not that clean and had mosquitoes splattered on the wall. I actually had to re-clean the room. HVAC needs to get clean. There was black mold on the vents and when it was on, a moldy smell came out. This place is conveniently situated , walking distance to many restaurants/stores. Saturday night was the worse noisey night for us. Coming from (next door-Alfie's wild ride). I believe there was an event that night and it finally calm down after 5am. I honestly wouldn't go back to this location. Staff was great though!

Very small space, limited hot water. Only had hot water for one shower, then never had hot water again. Floors uneven. Beds were ok. The room and the linen were clean.

Nice and unassuming. Modern decor. A clean updated room with comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. Think IKEA in the mountains . The common area was nicely decorated and a nice place to gather. Free hot beverage station.

This is a an older, 1960s, motel that somebody is trying to make a hip event center. There are plans for more rooms, and a restaurant, I think. The outside is nice, the location convenient, at the north end of downtown Stowe. We passed through here, mostly just looking for a hotel, not the “Stowe Experience.” We chose T&C because it was pretty much the only room for less than $300 a night. The good: The concept is great, re-using and upgrading an older place. Check-in was fine, with good staff service in a nicely renovated lobby area. The room was HUGE, with a large bed and decent linens. linens. It was pretty quiet, despite being right next to the road (see below). Walking into town for food wasn’t bad, about .5 miles. The bath products were nice and the keyless check-in was kinda cool (you code in to open the lock). The bad: The room is WHITE. I’m talking Procol Harem/Randall McMurphy white. Like surreal white. Design is early-IKEA meets Goodwill. TV-tray nightstands, a used-looking dorm fridge placed next to the entry door. On the floor. A desk but no desk chair. Charitably, they are still working on the spaces, I expect, so perhaps this is still a work in progress. There was little or no art work on the walls, adding to the white on white theme. NO coffee in the room… you have to go down to the lobby (which mean you have to get dressed, like with shoes and everything). Very basic but functional room, good mattress and clean. Good location (close enough to walk to Stowe 'downtown' and some restaurants but far enough to avoid the daily rush hour traffic backup from Stowe 'downtown'. To be clear, it's far from a luxury hotel but a solid choice for folks looking to take a shower a rest after a day of hiking.

This facility is in the process of an upgrade from previous owners. So it is understood there is some lack of comfort in some areas.

Very close to the activities and convenient. The staff was very nice and helpful. My only complaint was that the walls were too thin. Other than that it was a great trip.

This is where you stay when you book late during peak season. I had to go to Stowe last minute for work and of course everything was booked so I had to pay top price for a hostel room. That isn't really my issue though. What did bother me was the cheap way they constructed the room. The bed was too large so they only left you inches to get in it. The bathroom sink was about 8 inches deep and then they put a shelf right above it so you couldn't even brush your teeth. And the shower was the best. Instead of installing a shower pan for the floor, they just tiled the whole bathroom and glued some time type of rubber *****ping to the floor to create the shower. There wasn't even any caulk under it so the water just leaked under it, flooding the whole bathroom. The shower curtain was also about 4 inches above the *****ping so it didn't keep any water in. The only good thing I can say is that it seemed clean. Nice try but they missed the mark.
