Best place to stay in Jamaica. The service and good exceptional. Great staff that’s friendly and professional. This was my best anniversary ever. Thanks to the great staff at Hyatt Ziva. I appreciate all of you so much. Much love and respect.

Lack of sound proofing makes it difficult to relax in the evening. Especially if you have an ocean view room. The evening entertainment is directly opposite and with one of the best outdoor PA systems I’ve ever heard the room is quite noisy until 11pm. Apart from that very nice hotel.

For the most part the customers service ****** they were mostly rude but you had a few people that made the visit worth while. KIM-MOY at front desk and Therena at the bar were by far the most welcoming and made the difference in our trip. These women made sure every time the encountered our group the made us feel at home and were inviting.

Excellent vacation with young kids. Very accommodating for families. Only stayed on the property but it was very enjoyable. Food is delicious and service/staff is the best of anywhere we have stayed. Would definitely stay again.

We had a great time at this property with our two teenage kids. It was very relaxing and beautiful, the food was delicious and the drinks were strong, I actually had to tell them to go light on the booze. I have two complaints. We made our dinner reservations for the week and we didn’t know that one of them was at the adults only side and the man who booked them did not ask the ages of those in our party. When we got there they said they couldn’t let is in because my son was 17, not 18. After some push back they agreed to serve us but were reluctant. Also, the last two days of our stay, the property was overtaken by a very large business group. They all said they came from the adults only beach to ours because it was better. It was like a middle aged spring break. They were everywhere and even the nightly entertainment area was shut down to accommodate them for an event that consumed the centre of the property and the rest of the guests were left to observe. That was not a class act by the property/entertainment team. That event should have been on the adults only side. Their goal seems to keep that side quiet. You would think it would be the opposite. The karaoke was really fun at the piano bar. Some servers were friendly and some had attitude.

Enjoyed the stay. The property could be spruced up a little. But employee service has improved

This was my first time in Jamaica and it was such an AMAZING experience. The staff at the Hyatt Ziva were an absolute dream! The food was so good and there was so much to select from. Shoutout to the pool bar staff and beach waitress! They were top tier! All the staff was so kind! I was so sad when I had to leave. I definitely plan to visit again and will be staying there again!

We had a great Experience staying at the Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall (Dec 2023 11-16), love that as adults we could access everything for both Ziva and Zilara though we stay on Ziva side. The rooms were clean and place was very nice and quiet even though Ziva was the kids side it didn’t really seem noisy. I ordered room service as well a couple of times and that took around 20-30 minutes which I thought was reasonable. I have read about other resorts in the area where it was difficult to get the Beach or Pool Chairs/loungers but that definitely wasn't the case here, there were plenty of empty loungers we can find in Ziva and Zilara to relax whether it was on the poolside or on the beach where it was completely quiet. During my stay didn't really encounter any people that were heavily drunk and noisy either. The resort grounds were beautiful/picturesque and being very well maintained as well from my observation. The staff needs a special mention here they were all Amazing throughout the Resort whether it was the Reception/Room Service/Poolside or Activity Entertainers/Restaurant Staff. They have 5-6 restaurants in Ziva and Zilara combined so we made reservations everyday for different restaurants so that we could cover all of them and chose to repeat the ones we preferred on our last day. I like that they can only be reserved by guests when they come to the resort and only 2 days in advance which gives all of them an equal opportunity and definitely a chance for reservations.

Hotel Ziva has a lot going for it and my family enjoyed our week there immensely. It also has a number of things to improve to truly get to solid 4-star status. First the positives. The grounds are beautiful and striking. As you look a little closer respect’s the interior rooms they are showing their age with worn carpets and dated interiors. The restaurants pools and beaches are great. Only exception is the hot tubs were mostly out of order thru the week. Most days the towels at the pool were gone quick and hard to get any later in day. Food was very good. The beach area while nice was small in terms of actual beach area to stroll. This is not a public beach that u can walk down by other other hotels. Hit or miss on star service. Some people were exceptional and others were rude or indifferent. Phones and room service were down 3 of the nights likely due to rain. Probably would try other places to see if value was better until ziva does a refresh facelift on interiors.
