Awesome relaxing stay, privacy for me and my wife, rooms clean and tidy, terrific view, accommodating hostess

We had the most fantastic holiday stay at Ingwenya. Madeleine went out of her way to make us feel welcome, guiding us on that tours, self drives and restaurants are available in St Lucia. Our wheelchair friendly room was perfect for my Dad within disability addaptions to help making our stay perfect! We will certainly be back.

I enjoyed my stay and will be returning to the Lodge. The room was clean and tidy with a good view of the sea, situated in a quiet area with no traffic noise but within walking distance of restaurants and shops.

excellent place for 6 adults, with a lot of space, big kitchen, swimming pool, near amazing beaches / nice resort + national parks. We have been provided regularly with updated information about the load sheding, weather ...

We came here as walk-in as there was a problem with our booked accomodation. The rooms were spacious and clean, really alright for this price level. Madeleine, the host, is a star. We would be back anytime.

Upon late arrival at dusk and during load-shedding, the service provider welcomed our family of 6 adults (4 pensioners between 65 and 85 years old, with different health challenges) and 3 dogs spent She assisted with guiding us on restaurant and activity options, especially those that were suitable for our family. The accommodation is neat and spacious - we stayed in the 3 bedroom unit and used the comfortable sleeping couch as well. The kitchen was well stocked and stove worked well. Bathrooms were well ventilated and tiles clean.

Ingwenya Lodge is a nice accommodation: spacious rooms, very nice garden. The host Madeleine is very nice and supporting, and provided good tips on activities and restaurants in St. Lucia. We would booked this accommodation as a family (6 persons) and we would not hesitate to book this accommodation again.

Lovely stay - Madelein was very friendly and welcoming. She had lots of information about the area and contact numbers of service providers. Felt safe during our stay. She has a few dogs of her own, but didn’t bother us. Beautiful view. Shower had good pressure and beds were very comfortable. We could use the braai facilities and some wood was also provided. Kitchen was well stocked for self catering purposes, but tea, coffee, salt, pepper and sugar were not provided. Towels changed every 2nd day, but housekeeping cleaned the unit every day (and washed the dishes :-)). No dishwasher in the unit. Off road parking on site. We had a lovely stay and would recommend it.

A fantastic relaxing stay with a view. Nestled in the forest you don’t even feel like you’re in a town, yet all the restaurants are walking distance. Everything was clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and considerate.
