더 카보(Hotel The Kabo)

Good stay, good food. It's a good option for a night. We stayed at the suite and it is very spacious. It's a good business hotel and had all that one needs on a quick visit. It's no frills like pool gym etc so It's well focussed on quick and efficient service. The food is excellent. It is located in a residential cum commercial area and works if one has business in Srinagar.

The Kabo has the potential to be an absolute gem in the heart of Srinagar. The rooms are ornately decorated, the food is diverse and delicious, and the staff cared for us as if we were their own family. That being said, we stayed in April and the hotel ***agement refused to turn on the cooling system of the A/C for longer than 15 minutes once or twice a night, advising us to instead open the windows, which allowed ***y mosquitoes in. We endured this, and the frequent power outages, all for the unbelievably pristine service offered by Gowhar and his staff in the dining area on the 5th floor. He recommended places to visit in Doodhpathri, made sure he coordinated a la carte orders for every table in a packed dining room, all the while still serving everyone himself, even while he has a leadership position. Gowhar single-handedly inspired us to endure the other issues at the Kabo, because he welcomed us every night and spoke with us as if we were long time friends, not just guests. The Kabo is lucky to have him.

Gowhar took care of us very professionally and was very approachable. If it was not Gowhar and the food and the services provided during the breakfast and dinner we wouldn't have stayed for 3 nights. Hotel room ambience was average and rooms were felt like sauna in the night. Upon repeatedly requesting for AC, the staff turned off the request, saying it's not possible as the Hotel is in central heating mode.

The staff is very polite and well ***nered . The rooms are great. The housekeeping service is great as well, loved their creative ways to make art from towels .

The service is amazing and so is the food. The staff is very kind. Mr. ***zoor Choudhary was very helpful... We really enjoyed our stay at Kabo...it's a must visit luxury boutique if you are in Srinagar.... Also visit Moonlight bakery at Hazarbal for some fresh walnut fudge

Excellent Service by the whole team. Food is nice. Staffs are humble and kind. Hotel is clean and well located. Will recommend people to stay at this hotel

Loved the hotel..specially art of masnavi..hookah is must try here ..special mention of wani aijaz he is too good with hookah and his warmth..thank you so much.. it was a wonderful experience.. lovely rooms..food..allover wonderful.. must visit

What can you expect when you pay Rs.20k per night for a family of 3? It has average clean room. Buffet spread was good. They show sold out on sites with high price and then take bookings through travel agent. Thats how they are running their business. Staff is good and helpful.
