Our stay at Kashmir and Srinagar wouldn’t be same if we stayed anywhere else. Jacquline boathouse, its owner and staff made our experience truly “Kashmiri”. They treated us like family and were very kind through out our stay. They went out of the way to help us out when we needed it and gave us tips and guidance for all we planned to do. Muneer our boathouse caretaker was a treat! He was at our service from early morning to late night and available at a quick call at all other times! The boathouse had all modern services with a personal touch, was kept neat and clean and was an amazing experience overall. Would love to come back!!

The New Jacquline Heritage Houseboat is located on Nigeen Lake in Srinagar. The Shikara service is complimentary and is available for reaching this houseboat. Despite its size, the houseboat is quite spacious and marvellous. Featuring traditional Kashmiri interiors, each room is beautifully decorated and well-maintained. Houseboats are a must-stay if you're in Srinagar. It's the authentic experience. Compared to Dal lake, Nigeen lake is much cleaner and quieter. Mornings are beautiful with the view of Nigeen lake, the Chinar trees across the lake making beautiful hues, the sounds of birds chirping and the sound of rowing Sikharas in the lake. It might sound like too much sugar coating, but I can't help it. That's what we've experienced. We had booked a suite room and I must say that it was incredibly beautiful, spacious, and comfortable. Luxury carpeted rooms with attached bathrooms with hot showers and other necessities. From the deck, you can enjoy breathtaking views. There is an antique aura throughout their place. Daily cleaning is provided throughout your stay. The food was really good and to our liking. We were welcomed with delicious cookies and Kahwah. Breakfast and dinner were also delicious, and they even ask for your preferences. It was a pleasure to eat the delicious food prepared by the chef. All staff members were very friendly and helpful. I would like to give a special mention to Muneer bhai's hospitality which was unparalleled and genuine, Kashmiri from the heart. It was a pleasure to have him as our host, and he took good care of us and our needs while we were there. --＞ A great stay with great food and hospitality is highly recommended if you want to have a hassle-free stay with your loved ones. Great experience and superb food . Would recommend anyone who prefers peace. The boat is located in nageen lake which is secluded and hence offers more peaceful stay compared to houseboats in dal lake. The staff is really courteous especially Muneer who is very helpful and takes care of everything. Again, my best stay in Kashmir.

Nagin Lake proved to be the ideal retreat from the bustling city, and the unwavering commitment to hospitality only enhanced its perfection. I had an incredible experience at New Jacquiline Heritage in Srinagar, Kashmir. Mr. Ramzan’s exceptional hospitality made our stay memorable. The home-like food was amazing, and the houseboat’s perfect hygiene standards stood out. Despite the lovely cold weather, the inside of the boat was warm, comfortable, and impeccably clean. Highly recommend for a cozy and delightful getaway.

Awesome place to be in, a must visit, location, rooms , food everything is perfect. The hospitality is to the next level. Special mention of Munir bhai who was very courteous and humble and took care of everything and made our stay comfortable. Worth every penny you spend for the stay. Even in December the rooms were very cosy and warm.

Had a fabulous time in Kashmir and our stay at the Jaqueline Houseboat was the highlight of our trip. It is a beautiful and well kept houseboat, the rooms are spacious, beautiful architecture. Tasty homemade kashmiri food, different and better than what you can get in a five star hotel. And there is a good gift shop at the back. Will highly recommended to stay here when in Srinagar.
