Although I didn't stay there I can write a review as I paid for the two nights - unwillingly. I was alerted to a charge on my credit card I didn't authorise. I called the hotel and requested they cancel the booking and notify the police. I gave all information and explained this was a fraudulent booking, which they accepted. Hotel cited procedures, refused to cancel booking, refused to contact police, didn't call bank to check what action to take. Refused to take any action and allowed these criminals to enjoy their stolen holiday, even after accepting the charges were fraudulent. Although I'm personally protected by insurance, not hard to request sighting of the card used for the booking and proof of ID.

I stayed a week in an apartment and enjoyed my getaway. The reception staff are polite and helpful. The bed was comfortable and there are plenty of blankets. Another air conditioner in each bedroom would be a good idea, although the big aircon in the lounge was able to warm my entire apartment. The barbeque area is secluded and quiet. The gym is excellent. Supermarkets, shops, and bus stops are within easy walking distance. I admit I put some effort into cleaning the oven and emptying the lint filter in the washing machine but not everyone is as picky as I am. (The previous guest seems to have been rather careless.) I appreciated the beautiful Chinese antiques dotted around, and the artworks in my apartment contributed to the restful ambiance.

In & Straight Out. If you're able to throw out any expectations of a decent hotel stay, then this place will be the one for you. Chipped in for a room to spend a night out with the girls, and I immediately regretted my suggestion. We walked into a lifeless lobby that remained unattended for a disappointingly long time. Finally upon checking in, as soon as we entered the hallway to our room, we fought off a pungent scent we found coming from the carpet. Although the room sizes were quite large, the furniture and state of the interior was daunting with a stale feel. Immediately upon seeing the beds and lack of cleanliness in the bathroom, I refused to return to this room to sleep. Departed before setting down my bag. There was NO Gaming or Bar as advertised. Overall, I hold myself responsible for ignoring the flags raised by others. May have been a series of unlucky occurrences, but I wouldn't do it again.

Cockroaches were crawling everywhere, The carpet was not vacuumed, and the room had bits of plastic and rubbish throughout. Dry body fluids were on the furniture—sticky floor tiles in the bathroom and kitchenette. (see some of the photos I have taken attached). I had to go and buy a can of fly spray and cleaning wipes it was that bad. I have taken a video before and when spraying as I would not believe a hotel can be this dirty if I did not see it for myself—thick dust on top of the small fridge, the tables and the benches. I was on the seventh floor in a western-facing room, so when I walked into the room, even in July, mid-winter in Queensland, it was over 28 degrees Celsius: full-length glass doors and windows with wide-open curtains. Turn on the air conditioning, and it ran all night at 16 degrees Celsius and still was not cold even by the morning. The air conditioning is in the main room, not in the bedroom. The TV is in the main room and can not be seen in the bedroom. How is this supposed to be relaxing or comfortable? The TV does not have a USB plug so that I can watch a movie off my hard drive. Even though you have been booked and pre-paid for the room with a company card, they insist on your personal credit card and then also want to photocopy your photo ID. You have to walk across the street and down the road to get to the business that provides the included breakfast. The smell from the restaurants downstairs on the ground floor wafts up even onto the seventh floor—a very strong odour even by the morning.

A little outdated however just needed a place to stay. 2 bedroom apt was good size for the 4 people. The only complaint i have is with the Staff and getting back to you. We have left something behind and i have spoken to Reception now 3 times who have told me the Manager will get back to me and i am still waiting for a call. The voicemail doesn't actually let you leave a voicemail and also has Anzac hours ( except we are in Oct not April )
