I liked the location but otherwise found that it was dirty, smelled like smoke and wet dogs and the staff was slow to respond.

The staff for the most part is great. We been staying here day by day pretty much but since we been staying here the room we are in has a broken window the toilet runs all the time and is low on water when flushing the bed is so stiff and the pillows are so flat and nasty the microwave is so rotted out. Now to the building the one elevator hasnt worked in all the times we've stayed and the other one is slow and rocking. The laundry room washers and dryers sucks. The vending machines are funny and as far as I tried putting cash its never accepted cash.

Hodan was a very nice person. Hodan is very knowledgeable and knows here business. Thanks Hodan for being great.

I booked my room through ******* for the Extended Stay America Suites Washington DC Springfield. Before I booked the hotel, I called them to inquire about late check-out times and they responded that late check out is by the hour. I told them I was going to book the room and checkout late the next day. I booked through ******* and I received a confirmation and itinerary number. Once I got to the hotel, before I could say anything, the front desk worker said “we don’t have any rooms”. I said ma’am “I’m checking in, I’ve already booked a room”. She said “yeah, but don’t have any rooms”. She pulled up my reservation and said, we didn’t charge you because there are no rooms available. I never got any emails from the hotel or ******* bout rooms being sold out-but my card still had a *pending* charge. The problem is, the hotel could not provide anything such as a print out or email stating they were sold out. The hotel didn’t cancel my reservation. When I searched online, I was still able to book another room with the same hotel - I did not but just checking. They were not showing “Sold Out”. At this point I felt like my room was possibly given to someone else. I was finally able to reach out to ******* and they were able to get my reservation cancelled and they reversed the charges. But it left me having to find somewhere else to stay. My overall rating was a 1 because of my experience-but I cannot speak to the cleanliness of the rooms and other services. Not a good experience.

Waited 20 minutes to check into hotel, room had bad odor, the window was opened so I assumed they were trying to air out the hotel, only one staff member present for the whole hotel, couldn’t get extra sheets or cleaning, no other rooms available had no choice but to stay in dirty room.

I really had a great stay. Hodan was a great person. I always see her smiling and always so helpful. Hodan is a great person inside and out. I always thought Hodan was a great manager. Thanks Hodan you are such a sweetheart and was always amazing!

Overwhelmingly awful smell of urine in the room. Asked to switch rooms and was even worse in the other room. Would not recommend this hotel

Place is extremely old and smelly. Personally will never stay here again. Lobby smells like someone has just puked here. Room carpets have stains which I did not want to know the reasons for them. Overall experience was really bad. Bathroom flush was broken. Had to change rooms. Breakfast was non-existent.
