What a super surprise! Excellent food and the room was clean, bright and extremely comfortable. Highly recommended. Staff are amazing and nothing is too much trouble. Will definitely stay again when visiting Lancing. Do try it, you will not be disappointed 😍

What a beautiful place to spend the night. My room was spacious and very comfortable. The bed was good and firm, but not rock hard, and the shower had the most pressure I’d ever experienced in a hotel. The bar/reception staff were all so friendly, yet still highly professional too. All in all, I had a fantastic experience. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing evening at The Railway for my birthday with four of our friends. Food and drink amazing. Staff very helpful and friendly. Made even better by signing up to the pub’s birthday offer and got a £100 tab for £50 !! Well done Portobello Group!!

We came in for a drink, or 2, for my husbands birthday, service was superb by Molly. She recommended the new lunch menu which we booked and it was truly fantastic. We booked a table, had sharing dishes which were so fresh and the sauces and presentation was fantastic. We then ordered Steak, Prawns and kids menu with chicken bites and its was delicious. We also watched the rugby, had fab drinks and then Molly told us cocktail night Thursday and Friday and also a well worth Charity cause every last Thursday run by stairwell to heaven. Fab venue, outstanding food and staff and great with kids and dogs, can't get much better 😀

Great stay, I usually avoid what appear to be pubs but this really is a small hotel. Quite old and grand with railway themed decor. Rooms are modern and immaculate. Dint worry about the vicinity to the train station, you can't here them. Range of food was small but enough, reasonably priced for good quality. Drinks not cheap. £16 for a large Jamesons and a Guinness. You do get a 20% off voucher though for a meal and drinks which was good. Only drinks bought with a meal though. Whole place was immaculate and staff polite. Definitely come here again.

I cannot say how much I appreciated the staff at the railway. They went above and beyond for me as a disabled guest. The accessible room is one of the best I have stayed in. Well done on attention to detail Only down side was a very rude guest at breakfast who Effie dealt with in a very professional manner. The guest was rude, disrespectful and shouting. Effie was the consumate professional. If anyone is giing to Worthing this is the place to stay

Excellent hotel , great location , good parking , rooms were really nice , recently refurbished to a high standard and breakfast was great , fresh and good selection , would highly recommend and will defiantly be staying again , although located within a pub , heard no noise at all

The rooms are all newly refurbished, our room was really large and well equipped. Super shower, very clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and pub is great. Rooms are quiet, cannot hear the pub from them. Highly recommended

Wow..what can i say, very friendly staff. Beautiful clean comfortable rooms.Large beds spotlessly clean bathroom which is fully stocked with products,plenty of tea and coffee in room. The rooms are decorated to a lovely standard and very comfortable..if you want to visit Worthing this is the place to stay plus its a short train journey to Brighton. Well done.
