Gilpin Hotel & Lake House

酒店房間很小，不像國內酒店一樣，性價比很差，兩個白人女前台有種族歧視，房間似乎有監控，衹要房間白天有第三人出現就會很快來電話叫我們讓第三人退出房間！

就是比較好的民宿，説實話欣賞不來。 一個樓裏一間房，樓下是餐廳。

羅萊夏朵的酒店，但是定的時候衹有這個房間了，沒想到這麼小，有條件的還是定大點的吧，住着舒服，酒店樓下有米其林餐廳。

Stayed and dined with my wife at the Hotel & Spice Restaurant on 17th May 2024. We were warmly welcomed on arrival and escorted from the car park to reception for booking in, The staff were happy, friendly and professional. we were taken to our room which was difficult to climb the stairs (as no Lift), The room was very well appointed the decoration was clean, fresh, sumptuous and up-to-date, with every thing a 5 star hotel has. Of the two special classic restaurants we ate at the Spice, the choice, selection, cooking and prestation was fantastic, again the staff were happy, smiling, friendly, professional and knowledgeable of the food and wine. Following the meal we retired back to Hotel and to the Bar for after diner drinks, the lounge room was elegant the furniture and decoration was very luxurious and impressive. The staff once again were friendly, smiling helpful and attentive. We then retired to our room for a good nights sleep. Breakfast next morning was excellent as was the staff again. Costs are a little on the high side but there is no substitute for a brilliant 5 star stay and dine. We would recommend highly the Gilpin Hotel and staff. Yes we would go again it was memorable, a fantastic stay.

This hotel gave us everything we wanted. Relaxation in peace in a wonderful lodge, access to the beautiful Lakes, top quality food and bar facilities. The perfect couple weekend away

We arrived a bit grumpy after our original holiday fell through due to cancelled flights. Jake on reception sensed this as we checked in and went above and beyond to make us enjoy our stay. The food was great, room lovely, setting impeccable but the main thing that elevated the experience was the people. Everyone we came in to contact with was charming, engaging but above all, natural and authentic. Hospitality at its best.

Exceptional location, place and service. Beautiful, relaxing and peaceful - a perfect getaway from the stresses of life.

Totally enjoyed our third stay at Gilpin in one of the Spa Suites. Service and food was excellent along with all the Spa facilities in the suite.

This is our 5th time staying at Gilpin over many years - first visit there was only the main house and no garden rooms. Lovely clean characterful garden room with lots of thoughtful facilities. TV not working but staff managed to reboot etc. Dinner in Spice was wonderful - fabulous food, a**osphere and service. Check in and checkout very efficient and friendly. Breakfast service rather patchy so we looked at the option of having in room but an additional £50 seemed overpriced especially with the relatively high cost for B&B. Overall enjoyed our stay in somewhere we have fond memories of but would probably only return if special offers
