Had a Clean and safe stay!

Pro: staff and location Con: super tiny, no amenities, a little smelly, uncomfortable bed, small parking, next to the main street, overpriced. The only good thing about this is that it’s 5 mins walk to the Gondola, nothing else. The room and bed were so small and uncomfortable we could not sleep well both nights. And the heater/conditioning was so loud. Paid over $500 for two nights.

Very comfortable place for a few nights. Great price for the location. Quiet neighborhood but the walls are thin so if you’re lucky your neighbor will be courteous and not sleep with the TV volume high like ours. Bring earplugs. The heater is loud and blows in your face so I recommend leaving it off while you sleep. Unit was updated and had a microwave and frig. We walked to the Gondola which was a good warm up.

Pros: location, close to gondola and state line. Free parking Cons: not clean, smears everywhere, blood (or other) drippings on bathroom wall. Shower grout/flooring was fractured and warped to the point where you’re standing in a 2 inch pool of water taking a shower. Heating unit from 1970-couldn’t keep both the fan and heater on simultaneously throughout night. Terrible bedding/bed. Honestly have no idea how this place rated highly.

The hotel was clean and comfortable, and everything worked well. The couple who own or manage it (not sure which) were very friendly and helpful. Our only complaint had to do with the parking, and that was only due to being there during the worst storm of the year. Having to uncover and dig out our vehicle and wait for the snow plow to clear the parking lot was a hassle. However, the hotel staff did work hard to assist with this all day long.

The room was very clean, updated , affordable and simple. I appreciated that the beds had a little padding and cozy blanket under the cover. We checked in late and it was very easy. They had warm coffee in the mor ing and the staff was friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

Great no frills place near the Gondola. Clean. Staff was very polite and helpful regd multiple questions we had.

Have stayed at the blackjack about 3 different times and always enjoy coming back. The location is right next to the shops and restaurants in south lake and near the gondola to heavenly for snowboarding and skiing, also a few minutes walk to the casinos, barely had to drive our car because we could walk to a lot of things. The rooms aren’t the biggest but they are comfortable and super clean. The bathroom we had looked fairly new, might’ve potentially been remodeled not so long ago. The room has everything we needed, mini fridge, microwave, good a/c and heater and a comfortable bed. Will look forward to my return again next year.
