호텔 다니아(Hotel Dania)

Сразу с аэропорта я приехала в отель.Сходила в душ и легла спать,проснувшись утром я пошла в ванну и глянув на себя в зеркало пришла в шок! Все тело было в красных пятнах! Спустя время мне подсказала женщина медик,что это укусы клопов!!! На то время я переехала уже в другой отель и идти ругаться не было желания. Еда отвратительная тоже. Моя мама отравилась этой едой. Совет, если не хотите,чтобы вас искусали клопы выбирайте другой отель Персонал так же не приветлив и злой. Ужасно!

Staff were very helpful first night we were there as we arrived later and even served us some dinner from there kitchen.The view was beautiful with an ocean front view.Little bit out from town but there is bus service that runs about every 20 minutes and you can either pay bus driver for ticket or get in little store on corner by bus stop.Only takes about 8 minutes to get to center of town.Well worth the money to stay at this hotel.

Hotel Dania is a great place to get away. The views from the hotel are amazing (the sun setting next to the Island of Capri and views of the sea), the staff is very accommodating, and the community provides endless opportunities for various activities. During our visit we had the hotel schedule use for a bus, ferry, and site seeing adventure around the island of Capri and they arranged for cars to pick us up at the hotel and drive use to local restaurants. The hotel is clean with unique layout which offers rooms with balconies to enjoy the views at any time. The pool is cool and deep (1.6m to 3.1m with a shallow section 0.8m), they have a bar onsite for drinks and food, the breakfast is good by Italian standards, and rooms are good size (the rooms are dated).

Il personale è gentile e disponibile, la struttura ha un notevole affaccio, la camera piccola ma pulita. In generale l'hotel ha tutto l'essenziale, senza lussi ma generalmente è ok. Lato negativo purtroppo le tariffe, decisamente alte, ma perfettamente in linea con i prezzi della costiera (altissimi, a mai più, ma questo poco c'entra con l'hotel). Unico vero difetto è far pagare 15 eur per un parcheggio incustodito e all'aperto, dai capisco la costiera ha tariffe alte, capisco la mancanza di spazi, capisco tutto ma così non si invoglia il turista a tornare. Generalmente hotel ok, ma ripeto la costiera è troppo troppo cara per i servizi che offre, con gli stessi soldi necessari per 3 giorni in Grecia ci saremmo fatti 10 giorni, dispiace tanto ma è tutto troppo caro, e si paga anche l'aria che si respira. Peccato!

I stayed with my girlfriend here for 3 nights. The only positives of this hotel are the pool and the ocean view, besides that it's only negative things. Wi-Fi connection was bad, we barelly got signal and now the worst, in our last night we got a surprise, the room was full of ants!! The staff didn't help us when the "invasion" occured and when we asked for them to check if any other room was avaliable they said everything was fully booked, and then they say they couldn't to anything and left us in the room hopeless, with a lot of ants (even in the bed) with a spray to kill them. It was only when we asked for a refund of that last night that they told us they could put us in another room So they lied about being fully booked when we asked them for help and a solution and it was only when we talked about a refund that they helped us. Don't recommend this hotel at all. (They even managed to delete my review on google, and I have proof/photos that claim that what I say is true, we didn't even had food in our room so I don't understand how an ant infestation appeared)

We had room 113 with balcony and sea view Just 20 minutes by foot to beaches and cliffs: * bagni regina giovanna * marina di puolo spiaggia * between these locations there are cliffs for bathing almost everywhere at shore Hotel interior feels old but clean Breakfast is ok, not spectacular Coffee is prepared from an automatic machine The food in snack bar is not to recommend unless you have no choice Pool area is good, there is a place for kids to play Service is great. Virna at the front desk managed to change our initial reservation although its against booking rules. A typical day is * breakfast * walk down to marina di puolo spiaggia, hang by beach * have lunch in one of the lunch restaurants by beach * continue hang by beach * back to hotel in afternoon * rest by hotel pool and order some drinks * shower and rest * take bus to sorrento for dinner at la fenice restaurant

This hotel is perfectly placed about a 20 minutes walk out of Sorrento up the hill and its a lovely walk with amazing views at some points. There is no pavement so I'm guessing not great for kids but there is a bus stop close to the hotel. The white paintwork to the exterior and interior of the building is immaculately clean. Our room was cleaned and bed made every day of our stay. Our room had a huge, wraparound balcony with just the most gorgeous views. We had a problem with our air con and, although it took a couple of days (for a part to arrive), the staff tried their best to get this fixed asap. Avoid the food in the bar area, there were 4 selections for main courses - we ordered the chicken and salad. I use the term salad loosely - it was a mound of shredded lettuce and carrot - no seasoning, no dressing and a tiny piece of chicken. Overpriced! Having said that, I was really surprised that most salads we ordered in various restaurants were disappointing 😒The wi-fi is very sketchy and frustrating. It would have been nice to have a small fridge in the room and also some glasses but I'm sure this is to deter you from bringing your own food and drinks onto the premises. We brought a couple of beers in every day and were too embarrassed to ask for a bottle opener. There is an amazing deli by the bus stop nearby (on the way down into town) the sandwiches there are great value and absolutely gorgeous (would happily pay for one of these instead of eating at the hotel as they are a meal in themselves). We paid for breakfast as part of our deal and it was perfectly fine - nothing too elaborate but plenty of choice. There is a lovely beach area if you turn down by the side of the deli and keep on walking downwards. It's a bit steep but worth it! Overall, we had a brilliant stay, the Hotel Dania is certainly worth a visit and would happily recommend it to others for their stay in Sorrento.

Близко к Сорренто,но место тихое и спокойное.Чисто,уютно,холлы традиционно украшены керамикой,мозаикой и картинами. Бассейн достаточных размеров для плавания.Очень вкусный лимонный сок на завтрак.Любезный и отзывчивый персонал. Но не советую заселяться в номера на цокольном этаже,с окнами,выходящими прямо на бассейн.Сырость и комары. Мне именно такой и попался,но я просить другой не стала,т.к. заселялась на 1 ночь.

Overall Dania is a fine choice for staying in Sorrento, especially if you don't mind being a little removed from the hustle and bustle of downtown (though you can always walk there in 30 or take the bus). The front desk staff were all very lovely and very helpful! The room we were originally in was not acceptable. There was no elevator on that side of the property and no one helped us up with our suitcases, there were 3 dead mosquitos on the walls, and the toilet never flushed fully. We were then switched into a much better room that was clearly newer, had an elevator, clean walls and bathroom. The meals at the hotel were a huge disappointment. The breakfast breads and pastries were often not fresh, the cereal was stale every day, and there was no hot option included (only cold boiled eggs which also tasted off). Dinner we tried once and it was just alright, overpriced for what we received in quantity and quality as compared to going out to a restaurant.
