This is a beautiful old hotel with an amazing history and stunning views! Staff was courteous and helpful and the delicious buffet breakfast was included! The location is perfect for access to all areas whether you’re looking to stay in town and explore or take an excursion…all is well within walking distance. Also very close to great restaurants and shopping!!

The hotel was lovely, the grounds were peaceful, and the breakfast was ample and delicious. Our room with a sea view was very comfortable with a breathtaking view from the balcony. The only downside was the attutude of the staff. From the front desk to the dining room, the staff were efficient but aloof, almost resentful. They did their jobs but nothing more.

Wonderful hotel in amazing location! Lovely, large, comfortable, extremely clean room with gorgeous view of the Bay of Naples. Our stay was 5-star perfect! The front desk personnel were all friendly, courteous and helpful with information and with any requests. Especially Carla! The breakfast buffet was excellent - with many choices offered daily - the breakfast staff were amazingly efficient and all were friendly and courteous. There were always two types of eggs served, along with crispy well cooked bacon and also sausage or small franks along with some type of vegetables or beans. There were cheeses and sliced meats, breads, rolls, cereals, yogurts, various tasty cakes and donuts, fresh honey from a comb, fresh fruits, juices, and of course delicious made-to-order coffees! The buffet is served in a large lovely room overlooking the bay - wow! What a view. The breakfast staff were constantly replenishing the foods throughout the breakfast time. It was a 5-star wonderful breakfast each day of our 9 day stay! The hotel has gorgeous gardens with paths & sitting areas nestled among the lovely flowers and trees. The pool is lovely and excellently clean. There are lots of lounge chairs to relax in. There is a big pool cafe/bar with big shady umbrellas & lots of tables. The hotel supplies big thick beach towels to use at the pool. All the cleaning staff were very efficient, kind and helpful! Truly a fantastic 5-star stay at Imperial Hotel Tramontano! We hope to return again!!

Wonderful property with great views of the bay, the beach, and Vesuvius. Short easy walk to restaurants, bars, shopping, ferries, beach, and train station. Staff was welcoming, accommodating and helpful. Special thanks to the wonderful bartender Rossi who took expert care of us each evening. Unfortunately the beach was closed for the season so I can’t speak to that. But for the location, price, and accommodations this is an easy recommendation.

The Imperial Hotel Tramontano was so nice to stay at in Sorrento. Great staff, lovely breakfast and dining room for dinner was exquisite. Staff are all nice and friendly. Easy walk to town and shopping. The gardens were beautiful.

It was a beautiful, historic hotel! We could easily walk to the beach and the town. The food and service were excellent!! I would stay there again!! We highly recommend it!!!

Imperial Hotel Tramontano is in a good location for a home base to other towns by way of ferry and in Sorrento city.
