Excellent place to stay in Sorrento. It’s located in the middle of the city, close to restaurants and bars, shopping and sightseeing. The staff is very professional and friendly. We had a minor problem with the hot water and we were immediately changed to another beautiful room. We met the owner and she was so very friendly and gave us a lot of tips and history about this incredible place. Highly recommended.

This property is a gem! Small and intimate we felt like we were staying in someone’s personal home. Anna and Jon were so gracious and hospitable. We spent a lot of time out on the beautiful and peaceful terrace: breakfast in the morning to an evening bottle of wine we purchased at a nearby shop. We really appreciated all the snacks and tea always available. The location couldn’t be beat! We were off the beaten path in the sense that there was only foot traffic allowed, no cars or scooters. The Accademia 39 is an exceptional property all the way around!

Beautiful sun filled room with high ceilings and a sweet balcony with a cafe table and chairs perfect for drinking coffee in the morning. Staff was wonderful. Would definitely stay here again!

This is a B&B property so not your standard hotel, but the staff is very accommodating and helpful to all needs. It is smaller than staying at one of the larger hotels in the area, which we really enjoyed - it provided a very relaxing place to stay at the end of long days touring the city. It is in the heart of downtown so you are within walking distance of everything. The breakfast in the mornings is delicious and as far as getting there, we took a car service from the Naples train station - which was booked by the staff for us. However, the more local train station in Sorrento is only about a 15 minute walk from the hotel - which also makes it easy to get to some of the surrounding attractions like Pompeii.

What a wonderful bed & breakfast in the heart of Sorrento. We enjoyed a great breakfast on their peaceful patio each morning, perfect for conversation and planning our day. Limited rooms make it extremely quiet. The location is convenient to everything; we had short walks to the Circumvesuviana train, and pickups for day trips and tours. Hardwood floors throughout and a large family room in the center make this feel like you are at a home-away-from-home. We had a wonderful stay, thank you Accademia 39!

A peaceful oasis in the heart of Sorrento. John and Anna are simply amazing hosts, nothing is too much. The rooms are comfortable and quiet. The shared lounge and terrace was a welcoming and calm space to relax in for a pre dinner drink or afternoon sundowner. A perfect balance between luxury boutique and homely and comfortable. Loved our stay and can’t wait to return.

Everything it promises to be, and more! Unique, thoughtful and genuine hospitality in a relaxed, stylish and comfortable setting. Although the guest house is on the 2nd floor there is a lift and the location is perfect for the old town - very central yet quiet. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

In the heart of old city, close to shops snd restaurants, it’s a casual family-like a**ósfera in this 6 room guest house. Very clean, comfortable beds and big rooms, with Living Room and terrace available. Friendly helpful staff.
