더 마드로나(The Madrona)

A beautiful boutique hotel in the wine country. The room with terrace was lovely, dinner was delicious and the pool was just perfect. The staff (particularly Rachel the concierge) made us feel right at home. Also, the free car service to nearby Sebastopol was nice plus. Lots of great restaurants within a 5 minute drive. We'll be back!

Perfect getaway. The team here have been intentional about every single thing. We loved the grounds, the bungalow, the restaurant and the staff were amazing too. It's a tranquil space that inspires curiosity every where you look.

We loved our stay at the Madrona. It felt luxurious but still small and intimate. The accommodations were lovely and the concierge Rachel was especially helpful in putting together a wonderful itinerary for our entire trip to Sonoma. Highly reccomend!

As an interior designer, the hotel is a feast for the eyes. Love all the design details and art and the room was very spacious and comfy. Only thing I would want to add would be TVs in the bedrooms. Ours didn't have one.

I stayed at the Madrona this weekend for my son's wedding festivities. High marks for the food, service by staff, and beautiful interiors in the Mansion building itself. My only complaint is that my studio room in the carriage house seemed a little underwhelming, at least in terms of lighting. I realize the buildings are old but they were all renovated about 2-years ago and it felt to me as though the carriage house rooms may not have been given as much attention in terms of decor as should be the case with a 2-key Michelin hotel. Otherwise, nice heated pool and the staff were outstanding in their attention to guests. Terrific food at both the rehearsal dinner and wedding reception.

We enjoyed a fabulous dinner at the Madrona in Healdsburg. The new chef has elevated what was already an excellent restaurant. The restored mansion provides a beautiful setting. We dined indoors but the outdoor patio is perfect if the weather is nice. We started with a pea salad that was the best I have had, ever! Next, the chicken paillard which was also fabulous. Both the wine list and entre prices are modest for the quality. My new favorite restaurant in Healdsburg!

Very beautiful grounds, from the garden to the pool and fire pit areas. Though we did not take advantage of the fitness center on site it was very nice inside. Our room was incredible with the heated floors in the bathroom and loved the original 1800s painted tile around the fireplace.

We stayed at the Madrona the night of our wedding and couldn’t have dreamt up a better experience. Greeted with a whisky cocktail for my husband, and a mocktail for myself (6 months pregnant!) from the moment we were arrived the experience was nothing short of perfection. We were upgraded to the most incredible room with such stunning views, and the staff was all so kind and hospitable. After breakfast the next morning we wandered the gardens and just soaked in the beauty, celebrating our first day as husband and wife. Our stay at the Madrona was the perfect ending to our perfect day, and was a total dream. We will be back!
