Prompt comms in advance and helpful whilst staying too, by phone and text. Very clean room and shared bathroom. Exterior scruffy and communal hallway badly in need of lick of paint though. Quite noisy road, so if like me you like to have a window open you might need earplugs. Too soft a bed for my liking. Obviously they get a lot of uncaring customers since the rules sheet I had to sign upon arrival was really long with some unbelievable requests eg do not iron on the carpet or bed! The host did apologise but said they had had some really disrespectful young guests. Quite soul-less if travelling on your own as there's no communal lounge or any contact with others, just straight upstairs and to your room. Fine for a biz trip though as long as you don't mind a shared bathroom. If like me you need a bit of green space and fresh air, there's a large recreational area within 5 mins walk, just turn right and right again out of the property.

Thoroughly impressed with the value. The inclusion of things like a microwave and mini-fridge added a touch of convenience. Having the option to order breakfast even if not pre-booked was great. Overall, it was a great comfortable stay with no issues.

This place is disgusting, from the outside it looks like a run down wreck, nothing like the beautiful pictures on the booking sites, when I first walked in there was an awful strong smell of cooking, I went to my room and walked straight back out, it was dirty and scruffy, very cheap and nasty, the man that answered the door was friendly but that's the only nice thing I can say, I came to stay in the premier Inn so I have had to pay out twice, please do not trust the pictures or reviews on this property it is false advertising.

Most comfortable bed, stylish interior, lots of greenery and underfloor heating in the bathroom, complimentary tea coffee water and snacks, own fridge, takeaways, superstore, pub on walking distance, Birmingham international airport, train station, NEC and central Birmingham on a short drive away

Very comfortable. Friendly owner. Wouldn’t have minded a bigger tv, but other than that just what I wanted

I booked a room for myself to stay tonight, June 3rd, back in January. I received a confirmation email. I paid upon booking and also received an email receipt. When I arrived today I was told that there was no record of my booking and that there wasn't a room available. I'm now on my own 150 miles from home out of pocket for a room I can't have and nowhere available within 30 miles that doesn't cost £150!

Lyndon House was extremely comfortable, it was one of the best nights sleep ive had, the room was huge with loads of storage. The owner was really friendly and helpful and nothing seemed too much trouble. I left before breakfast so I cannot comment. Some guidance, they only have 2 parking spaces but there is on street parking near by, shops and takeaways are a 2 minute walk. It is a shared bathroom which is really clean and there are no shoes allowed in the house, they have shelves in the porch to leave your shoes. Unfortunately for me sharing a bathroom with strangers is a deal breaker otherwise this would be my number 1 choice when staying in the area
