When we pulled onto the street, my wife wanted to switch hotels. It’s dark, and looks a little creepy. Parking could have been a challenge but we were fortunate to find one almost in front of the hotel. We walked in and were quite surprised. It’s clean, quiet, and decorated quite uniquely. It’s really comfortable! Our room is spacious, with a large bathroom. There is a lift so as to avoid stairs. The neighborhood to the north is Kurdish, with an outdoor market and some cafes. To the south and east is a mosque and synagogue almost next door to each other. We ate next to Roman ruins during the call to worship. It was a very fun and interesting day in a really cool hotel. Complaints? Our AC turned off by itself in the middle of the night. Other than that, it was perfect.
