아드미랄 그랜드 호텔(Admiral Grand Hotel)

방에서의 전망은 훌륭합니다. 호텔은 사랑스럽습니다. 직원: 저는 여행 그룹과 함께 여행하고 있는데, 다른 사람들과 우리 사이의 서비스 차이는 명백하고 둔감합니다. 프론트 데스크 직원 1명과 감독자/관리자 1명의 태도가 형편없습니다. 우리 여행 회원 중 한 명이 더러운 화장실이 있는 방을 배정받았을 때 그들은 "내 상관 없음" 태도를 취했습니다. 사과도 없고 설명도 없이 그냥 기다리라고만 했습니다. 10분 후에도 여전히 기다려 보세요. 경영진, 이 여성들에게 얘기해 주세요. 무관심한 태도는 용납되지 않습니다. 귀하의 회사가 단체를 반대한다면 앞으로는 단체 예약을 받지 마세요.

이 호텔은 약간 혼합되어 있지만 노력하고 있지만 등급이 좋지는 않습니다. 음식은 괜찮았지만 특별한 것은 없었습니다. 아침 식사는 카바와 오렌지 주스로 맛있었습니다. 호텔 주변에 흡연이 많습니다. 수영장 주변에 엄청나게 많은 규칙이 있지만 주변에 유리가 없다는 것은 언급되지 않았는데, 이는 이상합니다. 음료 가격은 미쳤고 살펴 봐야합니다. 직원들은 레스토랑에 대해 젊고 경험이 없어 보였지만 친절했습니다. 셰프들이 열심히 노력하고 있었기 때문에 그럴 수는 없었습니다. 옷 등을 보관할 옷장이 없고 서랍도 없어 여행가방을 가지고 생활해야 했습니다. 5성 숙소에는 적합하지 않았습니다. 안락 의자와 우산은 필사적으로 업그레이드가 필요하며 일반 땅에는 거친 선을 부드럽게 하기 위해 약간의 식재가 필요합니다. 대형 유람선이 정박할 때 지역 항구에서 이상한 냄새와 기름이 흘러나오지만 보는 것은 흥미로웠습니다. 이 매우 조용한 마을에는 상점이 거의 없습니다. 일부는 슈퍼마켓이라고 부르기도 하지만 실제로는 구멍가게에 가깝습니다. 리셉션 직원은 특히 칭찬받을 마리아에게 매우 도움이 되었습니다. 전반적으로 흥미로운 숙박이었습니다. 서둘러 돌아가지는 않았지만 괜찮았습니다.

Stayed in this lovely hotel in May as part of a Marella Cruise and stay, it was a good choice to make, quiet and peaceful, which is just what we wanted. Food was excellent, fantastic buffet with everything you could think of. Lovely beautiful clean, large rooms. Lovely walks from the hotel with bars and cafes along the way. Right on the sea front with a lovely pool, lots of sun beds, no need to worry about towels claiming the beds! The only fault for me was you couldn’t have free tap water with your evening meal, you had to buy a bottle, which we found totally unfair! The village of Slano is about 35 minutes from Dubrovnik, Just €3.50 into the old town, buses run very frequently. We would return to this hotel.

These days, it seems to be harder and harder to find a perfect location for a truly restful holiday. But look no further than Hotel Admiral Grand in Slano near Dubvronik, on the Dalmatian Coast. We returned after our honeymoon there 43 years ago in 1981. The location is in a picture-perfect bay offering quiet walks and a private beach. The staff, the rooms, the dining experience, the large outdoor pool, the equally large indoor pool with jazuzzi…. all combine to provide a pleasant and peaceful holiday. Hotel Admiral Grand is a rare gem.

Location of the hotel is fantastic, easy to get to Dubrovnik on the local bus , it only takes 45 minutes. The view from our room was gorgeous ,overlooking the beautiful bay. Slano is a quiet village but it is perfect for relaxation. The room was very clean, quite spacious with plenty of storage. The shower had good pressure and was always hot. There was always a good choice in the restaurant and food was delicious and hot. Staff were pleasant and kept everything tidy and clean. We loved our stay at the admiral Grand.

The hotel is a very comfortable place to relax and enjoy the stunning Croatian coastline. The location may not be for those wishing to spend a lot of time in Dubrovnik as it is someway out of the city. We found the staff very friendly and enjoyed our two weeks with them. The food was well prepared with ample choice.

I was feeling very nervous about going abroad on my own for the first time in my 50s, I must admit this was a big challenge for me but something I was determined to overcome, I went to the airport on my own, did the flight and I was feeling relaxed and really pleased with myself, the transfer from the airport to admiral hotel went well but then when I arrived Admiral Hotel it felt disappointing as it wasn't very welcoming but I was happy to let that ride over my head as I was there to make this a lovely holiday, I settled in my room which had a lovely view, I then went for food, when I walked into the dining area I made eye contact with one of the waiters thinking he would explain what the procueedure was, but no he looked away and broke eye contact, I felt all eyes was on me because I was on my own,(they probably wasn't but felt like they was) I went and sat at a table that had no cutlery on it, still no one come to guide me, I decided to go to the buffet to get some food, my anxiety at this point is start to going into overdrive, I was then looking for cutlery and none to be found! On the way back to my table I noticed a table with cutlery and thought “Oh right I need to sit here” When I sat down all eyes were on me, some people even laughing and looking at me, I was absolutely mortified, thinking “what have I done?” I then clicked on and realised I had sat in someone else place and used their cutlery. I felt so embarrassed that I stood up, left my food and rushed back to my room, I was totally upset with myself and thought how am I going to get through this for the next ten days if I can't even go for a meal without showing myself up. I found myself looking for the next flight home (a bit drastic I know) I did manage to calm my anxiety down and reflected on how well the journey had gone and not to let this spoil my holiday, I needed to prove to myself that “I CAN do this” so I did stick it out and ended up having a lovely peaceful and relaxing holiday, However, this did include going out for food rather than eating at the hotel, which I did enjoy and I have booked to go away again on my own in self-catering accommodation rather than a hotel, I was the only single solo traveller at the hotel at this time and I think if it had been more welcoming my first solo trip would have been perfect.

I had never been to Croatia before and was delighted with our choice. This hotel was really great with outstanding views as it is sitting at the waters edge. Our room had a balcony with a small table and 2 chairs looking over the mountains and church, really pretty. Robes and slippers provided and lovely toiletries which were replaced daily. Spacious room and spotlessly clean with a safe and mini bar if wanted. Food was beautiful and plenty of choice both breakfast and dinner, and the outdoor dining area is at the waters edge, truly wonderful. A lovely huge indoor pool with jacuzzi, spa and sauna, loads of beds indoor and out door on both the terrace and shingle beach. I cannot honestly say this was much better than we expected and will definitely return, such a relaxing area with lovely walks around the bay. Well worth a look, thank you for a great week.

The hotel is right on the beach with an indoor and outdoor swimming pool and plenty of beds and parasols. The staff were excellent, couldn't do enough, from the attendants who put up parasols for you on the beach to the cleaner. All immaculately turned out and friendly. and nothing too much trouble. The food was lovely with a chef to cook an omelette or eggs the way you want them for breakfast and so much choice! The rooms were modern and clean and the beds very comfortable. Couldn't fault the place or the staff. So welcoming and friendly. A little tip is to buy some swim shoes as the beach is pebbly but if you don't you can buy them at the local gift shop for ten euros.
