The location was perfect, on a beautiful quiet beach but only a five minute walk to town. The hotel was great value for money and all the staff were friendly, caring and professional. We can’t wait to come back, Schinoussa is a corner of real Greece where travellers are made to feel part of an extended family - thank you!

We are very happy because we stay at Grispos Villas. Everything in this place is magic. We stay in building Filoxenia. The room has a fantastic balcony with sea view. The restaurant has traditional food . We love this place

The reception area was a complete tip. Customer service was poor. Rooms not serviced. Bar and restaurant not open as advertised. No sense of urgency in dealing with issues - we were locked out of our room for nearly an hour with no help. Avoid.

Unlike other recent reviewers I had no complaints about cleanliness, however our parasol didn't work and there was no effort to fix it which was a problem since the balconies take the full force of the sun for much of the day. The view from the balcony is undoubtedly this place's biggest asset. The host models his customer relations on Basil Fawlty which depending on how chilled you are you may find charming or infuriating. Being charitable I wonder if Grispos took a huge hit during covid and hasn't yet recovered. It has clearly seen better days. Given the price I rate it poor but with not too much effort it could improve. Also they cancelled our booking 36 hours before we arrived and wouldn't answer our emails so that was stressful. It was resolved by our lovely hotelier on Naxos. It is some kind of scheme by Fawlty to avoid paying commission to whichever 3rd party you booked via. He makes you pay him in person when you arrive.

Zero value for money. Nothing is worth it apart from the view. Extremely overpriced with very basic rooms and terrible service. Things didn't work properly (e.g water pressure, wifi reception, doors). Hygene was a major issue with rat and dog droppings all over the place. What tops it up is the owners behavior when confronted! Definitely a no go!

Spectacular views ! The reception is just a dumping ground for the owners rubbish and stinks of smoke. The owner eventually agreed a price for us, it was way more than it was worth. Our room was lovely but the kitchen area was dirty and we needed to wash everything before using. Beautiful bathroom. Staff, sadly not interested in us all. Dinner was average and thrown down ! Our main dishes arrived before our starters. We understood there was no pool, but happy with the spectacular beach, however no sun beds, so the only option was to lay on a towel on the beach, not ideal. The sun was directly on our balcony all day, but our sun parasol was broken. Great to get to such a remote island but won’t be rushing back
