Wonderful weekend with my husband visiting my son! The Bed and Breakfast Inn was impeccable and the host Clark was extremely friendly and accommodating. The services offered were outstanding, especially the delicious breakfasts! Thank you for a memorable first visit to Skaneateles! We will be back!

A relaxing reboot weekend with my wife, Clark made it exceptional.😎🙏 The view of the lake was fabulous. The walk to town took 2 minutes.Krebs restaurant next door could not have been more perfect for an old fashion at the bar and lobster crepe.

Where does one start? 2W Lake is truly a gem. The historic home itself is gorgeous and clean. The location is perfect; within walking distance to just about anything in town. The bed and sheets are incredibly comfortable. My wife claims it as some of the best sleep she's had on vacation. Clark is an amazing host with a phenomenal attention to detail. He even keeps the room stocked with those little odds and ends you'd find in a hotel from shampoo to toothbrushes. He's well-versed in the area and can provide solid recommendations for just about anything you're looking for like wineries, restaurants, and more. The breakfasts are excellent and are absolutely worth being downstairs at 8:30! We'll absolutely return! Thank you, Clark!

Clark is an an absolute amazing host!!!! I have been going to Skaneateles, NY for years as I have family there. This was by far the most comfortable and wonderful place we have stayed. I even asked Clark for his breakfast recipes, honestly the best breakfast ever! I dream of the croissant French toast. Please do yourself a favor and stay here and also say hi to Harvey, the cutest and sweetest dog ever. I promise you will wake up refreshed, well fed, and ready for all the wonderful activities Skaneateles and the surrounding area offer.

2 W Lake is a gorgeously restored Inn in the heart of Skaneateles, NY. The rooms are large and well appointed. The gourmet breakfasts are delicious. The innkeeper, Clark Maher, provides terrific recommendations for dining and things to do in the area. Probably the best B&B we ever stayed at.

My wife and I had the pleasure of having owned 2 West Lake about 30 years ago. We had our young family there when it was a big, magical house in need of some TLC. We still live in upstate NY and visit Skaneateles occasionally but have never stayed at our former home until now. What a home coming! 2W Lake is everything that you want in a luxurious Bed and Breakfast. Out host Clark has the home in magnificent shape. The furnishings are beautiful, appropriate, comfy and spotless. The service was impeccable without being intrusive. The breakfasts, in the front window looking out onto the Village, were really lovely. We spent hours talking with Clark about the history of the home and the wonderful opportunities for food and entertainment in Skaneateles. He is super knowledgeable and is ideally suited for his role as a BandB owner and ambassador for Skaneateles. We cannot wait for a return visit!

There aren't enough great adjectives to describe this wonderful B&B! The owner, Clark, makes you feel right at home as soon as you walk in. He is warm and attentive, assuring his guests of complete comfort. The rooms are clean, airy, with some of the nicest sheets on the bed we've ever slept on. Then there is breakfast. Clark is creative with his menu, which is not only delicious, but a feast for the eyes as well. The B&B is a few steps away from downtown and the lake. If you are visiting Skaneateles, this is the place to stay!

This is THE only place to stay in Skaneateles!!! I don't even know what to say about Clark the owner. We had car trouble (we were not able to drive the car) about 45 mins away on the day of check in. We texted Clark just to give him a heads up that we would be late and he without hesitation offered to pick us up!! Who does that? Clark, that's who!! So there is your indication of how well run his B and B is! Now, I will get into the details of the house. The beds and linens, probably the most comfortable I have ever slept in, Keurig in the room with ceramic mugs, wine glasses too! The bathroom is fully stocked, no need to ask for anything. Do not miss breakfast! The night before, Clark will tell you what he is serving and believe me it nothing short of delicious. I guess I will wrap it up now, but just know that Clark will make you feel like you are visiting a friend, that's how welcoming and warm he is. I'm already planning my next visit.

2W Lake B&B is an amazing place to stay and made our trip to Skaneateles a wonderful experience. Centrally located near downtown, it provides the best access to all the area has to offer while providing a welcome, quiet, private retreat. It also offers a superior guest experience from luxury linens to gourmet breakfast in a beautiful setting across from the lake. 2W Lake B&B is everything it says it will be and more! Clark is an excellent, knowledgeable host with an eye for providing the best guest experience. As other reviewers have said, 2W Lake B&B is a true gem. We will absolutely book again for our next trip and will recommend it to our friends and family!
