The Morgan Resort is a beautiful and well maintained. It is one of the nicer resorts on the island, probably the nicest on the Dutch side. It is smaller and quieter but has a lively bar and nightly entertainment. The staff is highly accommodating and super friendly.

We loved this hotel! It was right next to Maho Beach so we could watch planes takeoff and land over the beach. There’s one sit down restaurant and you can order food at the pool from that restaurant or the BBQ place next to the pool. There were lots of restaurants you could walk to inside of half a mile. There is a small grocery store within that half mile where you could buy water, food and alcohol. The hotel staff was super friendly and helpful. Louisiana and McKinley were 2 of the best but honestly, everyone was great! We rented a car and drove to Orient beach that was a little more relaxing and less crowded than Maho Beach. We definitely enjoyed watching the planes everyday and will definitely come back again.

The reception desk was ok, not amazing. For the second time I went in this hotel, they gave me probably the worth room. First floor just in front of the restaurant. I had table and chairs just in front of my window!!! When I asked for a late checkout until 1PM, it was very difficult to get and at the end they gave me noon. The price at the restaurant are very high for a quality not high :(. Not an hotel to recommend.

Close to the airport. Great room with great view. The staff was amazing !! The main restaurant was amazing with great food and staff !

The location is great literally 4 minutes from SXM airport. however the only staff that was accommodating was bell hop and transportation to the airport. Patrick and Lee to be specific! The ladies at the front dest was unaccommodating and unapproachable. My Sisters were getting spa services at 10 am they will be done by 12 so we requested late check out and that was denied. Overall nice hotel, just needs some direction with staff.

I spent two nights at the Morgan Resort. Not sure I would come back. I've been to St Maarten at least 20 times and one thing is consistent- the service is meh. The good: wonderful pool area, comfortable room and bed. Less good: Noise. The first night I stayed in an airside room. Most of the heavy aircraft take off before 6pm but the lighter aircraft start early. This is OK if you are in bed early and up early. On the second night I stayed in a poolside room. I think this was actually worse in terms of noise. Constant music all the time. Second bad thing- 11am checkout. I checked out of room 1 and waited in a line of 20 people... totally inefficent/ineffective front desk. I moved from one category room (airside) to another (poolside). There were more than 10 rooms available for sale but regardless, I had to wait 4 hours to switch rooms. No accommodation made even though I had a second room to move to. Zero help/flexibility from the front desk... completely useless. Ridiculous $100/hr late checkout fee... which clearly I did not accept as an offer. Having to wear a bracelet makes you feel like you are at a frat party hotel. Very annoying. The food was OK, nothing special and definitely not cheap. Basically the hotel seemed like a bus station. Lines of people checking in, lines checking out. I definitely would not make this hotel my vacation destination. The rooms are NOT cheap. You can get a LOT more elsewhere in the Caribbean with far better service.

Wonderful hotel. Everything was first class. Staff and entertainment was excellent. Loved location.

We just love the Morgan Resort! This hotel is very close to the Maho beach (3mins walk), Mullet Bay Beach (12mins walk) and the Maho Market (5mins walk). Very convenient and accessible to all you need. The Maho Market is amazing place to buy your breakfast sandwiches (Johnny Cakes!) and snacks to bring at the beach. The sunset bar& restaurant is also nearby and lots of breakfast places. The hotel is super clean! Well maintained and very safe and secured. Staff are helpful and very attentive to your needs. Thanks to Ravi who drove us from and to the airport! He is the best :) we will come back soon!!!

STAY AWAY! IT IS NOT LUXURY. Nice Pool but was smelly, dirty, horrible service and noisy, hallways echoed, you could hear everything. Beds and pillows were very hard and they had no other options for guests. We will NEVER be back.
