An amazing experience that we are so glad we did. We watched an amazing sunset in Tuscany at this hotel. Breakfast was good and the staff was very friendly. HIghly recommend you book their cooking class at Le Pietre Vive which is about 12 minutes away by car. Located just outside Siena and tucked back in the olive tree grove. It was perfect for us. Stairs to your room but a pully system for your bags. We loved every second of it. We bought some of their honey, wine and olive oil. Highly recommend.

Very private, secluded castle a few miles outside of Siena. It's perched on a hill, is very rustic but the room is clean, bed was comfortable and the woman who lives on the top floor that checks you in was very nice. Doesn't speak a lot of English but was very accomodating. Breakfast was served each morning. Traditional Italian breakfast with cheese, meats, yogurt, croissants, coffee, juice. Our room actually had a small kitchen. We didn't use it other than to open up wine and use the wine glasses. This is not a luxury five star hotel with a concierge to help you pick restaurants and things to do, but a very quaint, reasonably priced authentic castle.

We had an amazing stay! The room was charming, comfortable and well equipped. The breakfast was traditional Italian and very tasty. The staff and hospitality was amazing! In addition, the B&B is affiliated with the La Pierre Vive restaurant which had fabulous cuisine! And to top it off, we attended a fantastic cooking class! We will definitely return!

Truly remarkable experience in an 800 year old castle. The grounds are beautiful and include olive trees on the farm. Great views. Quaint experience with the owners who run the castle as a bed and breakfast. Our suite easily accommodated our family of five. We are grateful for the intimate breakfast the following morning. Can you even imagine staying in a genuine 13th century medieval castle in the peaceful and gorgeous countryside of Tuscany? Well, we actually did experience it, and it was as delightful as it was memorable! Castello delle Quattro Torra (Castle of the 4 Towers) was a fully functional, battle ready medieval castle, though now the guest rooms in each of the towers have been updated and modernized for our comforts and conveniences, while maintaining the charm and feel of being in a medieval castle. Every window overlooks the beautiful landscape of the Tuscany countryside, making our stay here the perfect setting to relax and take in the beauty and charm of the area. The bed was very comfortable, the rooms were cozy and warm (we visited in January), and the wonderful breakfast was astoundingly delicious, and perfect for this wonderful setting. We were greeted by our humble and very hospitable host, Nicola Guerrini, who welcomed us and then hoisted up our luggage with a platform lift to the 5th floor common room. One of the 4 towers is higher than the others, allowing guests to get a 360 degree view of the rolling hills and nearby villas, with the city of Siena just a short distance away. We will definitely plan to visit this remarkable B&B style stay again, and next time we will plan enough time to take in the truffle hunting and enjoy the associated restaurant in Siena. We highly recommend this great experience and accommodation that we tell all of our family and friends about! It was a romantic setting, and a great place stay in beautiful Tuscany Italy!

Our stay at Castella Delle Quattro Towers was our favorite during our trip to Tuscany. We stayed in one of the tower rooms and the views of the Tuscan countryside were amazing! The rooms are comfortable with everything you need. The castle is family run and only has a few rooms so it is very peaceful. Breakfast was included and was served in a nice private breakfast room. Fruit, breads, yogurt, juice, and their homemade honey. We also highly recommend eating at their family owned restaurant- Restorante Le Pietre Vive. We enjoyed the atmosphere and food immensely. We went two nights in a row because we enjoyed it so much! Our stay here is one we will remember forever!

What a surprise to find out that this was not a “jeux de role”but a true historical experience in a very old Castle where even Galileo Galilei has once transited through! Amazing atmosphere…. Owls will eventually keep you awake during the night but this is part of the experience. Thank you for having us… until the next

Everything about this experience was perfect. I mean you are actually staying in a castle. The four rooms are all 1 separate tower. Breakfast is served in the mornings with amazing views of sienna. I highly recommend even if for 1 day! Wonderful family!
