포이츠 코브 리조트 앤드 스파(Poets Cove Resort & Spa)

Amazing staff, outstanding food and service. We would recommend Poets Cove to anyone looking for peace, quiet and next level dining. Our Christmas dinner was the best we have ever had. We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 night stay. Thank you Poets Cove. Veey memorable!!

The resort is situated in a beautiful location. Staff were extremely welcoming and learned my name immediately, and remembered details I shared sour myself. The food in the restaurant was excellent as well. I got great recommendations for local sights and activities. The hot tub had low water, and one of the walls in my room had some damage, but overall the rooms were lovely and the amenities were great (I still used the hot tub daily, I just couldn’t use the jets). I had such a tranquil stay, I would (and will) return in a heartbeat. Of note, if you are staying in a suite in the inn, plates and cutlery are not provided (nor is a microwave), so if you are bringing any food, it would be wise to bring basic dining accessories.

Despite Pender Island being a primarily summer destination, the staff and management at Poets Cove have done a great job at delivering in the off-season! The staff were all great, as was the pool and spa. Swimming in an outdoor pool followed by a dip in the hot tub in November on the West Coast! So relaxing. The food options were delicious…compliments to the chef and kitchen staff.

For the price point the units should be better maintained. The black sealant for the windows had dripped down onto the window sills and walls, the walls needed painting as the dry wall was marked and you could tell where a picture used to hang, the dining room table was very worn and at least needed a table cloth

This is a beautiful resort on a small island between Vancouver and Vancouver Island. It inhabits a peaceful bay with lovely facilities. You do need some form of transportation to get around the Island and we had a hire car for that purpose. But the accommodation, the staff, the location and the experience were all top rate.

We like the place .....but.....If you're going to call it a Resort and Spa, you can't say the spa is closed down. They say due to Covid but I thinks it's probably a staffing issue, after all they are on an small island Also, the restaurant does not serve breakfast except for weekend? They ask you to go the cafe but it's only has coffee and muffins. This is annoying as you have to leave the resort and the restaurant options on the island are very limited. I think Poets Cove resort really needs to invest in having those amenities. otherwise people will not go there or recommended it when you consider the ferry cost to get there.

Our accommodation in an oceanfront lodge room was nice, although the resort is a bit tired for the price. The view and the deck were great! The room itself was nice, although I found the mattress to be a bit soft. I enjoyed the desk/chair as a seating option. There were limited breakfast options during the week (no gluten free in the cafe) as we had no cooking facilities. There were actually few breakfast options on the island Mondays and Tuesdays. It would be advantageous for the cafe to have a packaged egg frittata (or something similar) and a fruit cup available. These issues may be a result of staffing shortages. Overall a great stay, with lots of places to explore on the island!

Promised early check in and didn’t actually get it. Told to return at 2pm and weren’t able to check in until 4pm. Disappointing.

We like the serenity of the place. Very peaceful. However, our balcony was a very dirty and showers and bathtub needed more attention for cleanliness. No ice available for our medication‘s that needed to be kept cold.
