It's a good place to be,very affordable but the service there is awesome, breath taking view, the most delicious breakfast meal options very cost effective and there is also a good variety, clean quite environment I would definitely recommend

I highly recommend this place, Their customer service is the best. I was completely impressed with their professionalism and customer service.I will recommend it to anyone family or friends outings. It's very classy and five star services.

We received 5 star customer service from the moment of our arrival to the moment of our departure. Craig & Glynnis are magnificent hosts in this stunning lodge where our friendly & knowledgeable Park Ranger Guide Martis brought the BIg 5 ( & way more ) literally to our footstep at times. The quality of our accomodation was superb , the food was varied and of absolute top class & taste & we really had the absolute best time. This is not a resort -this is an African Safari family letting you into their home for as long as you wish. Highly highly recommended & great value too.

Everything about this experience exceeded expectations! Great exspierence. A must to go just to unwind and with amazing company to go along with it. Tranquility and surroundings makes your stay very easy. The place is a really gem and the staff very helpful and amazing. Will definitly revisit again

If you’re thinking of a Safari and want something special & exclusive then book Founders Lodge! We are just back from our honeymoon there and it was top class! The staff are so friendly, literally couldn’t do enough for you and the food was excellent! In terms of safari we were blown away by it! Got to see 4/5 of the big 5 animals with Marthus our ranger/guide who was very knowledgeable, excellent at his job and good fun on all our drives! The fact they have their own reserve and hideout for getting close to the animals enhances the whole safari experience and well worth staying with them! Well done to all the team at Founders & keep up the good work! We will be back at some stage in the future!

We had four incredible days at Founders and cannot recommend it highly enough. We were treated like VIPs from the moment we arrived, the staff were so attentive and never without a smile. A welcoming party awaits each time you return to the lodge with hot towels and refreshments, so lovely. You will definitely not go hungry at Founders, the hospitality is outstanding. Our safari guide, Martis, was extremely knowledgeable, we learned so much in the time we were there. The guides work very well together, sharing information on sightings to ensure guests have the best experience possible. We saw something new on every drive and all our expectations were exceeded. Thank you Martis for making our safari dream come true. By far the best holiday experience we have ever had.

Where is the button to award six stars? Founders Lodge is one of the most incredible places I have ever had the pleasure of staying in. I’ll try to hold back on the superlatives, because I will quickly run out. The lodge is wonderful, extremely comfortable and intimate. I think the shower was one of the best I've ever used and the beds are massive! It’s like you’re staying with incredibly well-heeled relatives. We spent three nights here and we didn’t eat in the same place twice as they have a policy to place you somewhere different for every lunch and dinner – really quite outstanding! From the terrace to the Boma, to the swimming pool terrace and the original owner’s dining room, each location was top notch. The food was easily 10/10. The staff? Everyone from Craig, Glynnis, Daniel and Mandle right through to the lovely people who cleaned the rooms were 100% first class! I didn’t see this in any other reviews and I hope I’m not breaking any confidences, but they have the most amazing photographic hide where you can view rhinos, warthogs and zebras up close without the animals even noticing you. This was fantastic! A final mention has to go to our amazing guide Skhumbozu who was very knowledgeable and informative, he was also great fun! We saw black rhinos, cheetahs, lions, elephants etc. etc. all in the amazing Shamwari Game Reserve which is right outside the main gate. We booked through Trailfinders in the UK. They list Founders Lodge as a 4 star. This is wrong. Founders is at least a 5 star; in my view a six or more, an absolute gem! Well done to everyone involved, it was a truly amazing experience and I’m looking forward to coming back again next year!

I don't have the words to express how fantastic this place is. From the minute you arrive to the minute you leave, you are treated like royalty! Every single member of staff is amazing - kind, helpful and so friendly. The lodge itself is out of this world! The rooms are amazing and so comfortable. The food is like nothing I've ever had before - and I've been to some terrific places in my life. The staff simply can't do enough for you. The game drives were brilliant! Sunrise and sunset drinks were lovely. From the minute I left, I wanted to be back there! I'm in the process of booking again for next year - and this time I'm taking more family with me. I can't recommend this place enough - it's out of this world!
