센트럴 하와사 호텔(Central Hawassa Hotel)

This was my first time in Awassa, and I had a wonderful time. The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood. The room was magnificent: it was spacious, amazing floor, the closet, the lighting, the bed was very comfortable, and the sheets were clean. Moreover, it had a balcony. Most rooms have breathtaking views. The lobby is large with very comfortable furniture. There is an area where you can enjoy Ethiopian coffee. The food was great. The hotel corridors are cleaned regularly. Overall the hotel is very clean. The hotel is ideal for meetings and events. Customer service was excellent. Especially: Abiku, Eden, Tewelde, and Berhanu. I will certainly return and I definitely recommend this hotel.

I stayed at the Central Hawassa Hotel for 5 days in August and must admit that I was exceptionally disappointed. Rooms: While the room contained all the amenities one would except - many of them did not work. The safe cannot be opened, not all the power sockets work, the fridge did not work, etc. etc. etc. While the bedding was clean every day, the hotel does not have stock and I often got new linen that was still damp. Bathroom: My bathroom (and apparently every other one in the hotel by feedback from front desk staff) did not have a shower door/curtain. So every shower you took would flood the whole bathroom. Luckily the water pressure and temperature were extremely poor so every shower was short. Staff: The staff are extremely friendly and try their best. Additional staff training is, however, needed as they often lack professionalism. For example, staff entered my room while I was still getting ready for the day. After seeing me, they greeted and still tried to enter to room to start cleaning. General: The hotel is in need of urgent repair and cleaning. Many things are "patched" and in need of urgent repair. While I would be less pedantic under normal circumstances, the hotel rates itself as a 4 star hotel that sets expectations high (especially compared to another 4 star hotel in the city that is only marginally more expensive). Should the hotel rate itself as a 2 star hotel, it would be fitting and people would be less surprised when visiting.

I would like to appreciate the improvement the hotel has shown over time as compared to what I know previously and readiness to accept feedback and take action immediately. The hospitality, flexibility and openness to change was highly appreciated during my stay to coordinate one of the continental level training for multisectoral and multidisciplinary team from national and subnational level. I got a chance to visit the good work this esteemed business entity in the memory of the owner at St. Gabriel Church with the invitation of their good staffs. I would like to express my condolences to all families and wishing her soul rest in peace, I would like to appreciate the works done by this business entity as part of social responsibility. Special thanks goes to all the hotel team including cleaners, guards, drivers, waiters/resses, receptionists, managers in particular Wubishet and Lidya

Beautiful staff and very good cleaning! People very friendly, respectful and great hospitality. Very good Ethiopian and international food- especially the ravioli. Rooms were cleaned every day carefully.

For sure this hotel has seen better times but management and staff are working hard to make you enjoy your stay. The location is good, walking distance to the lake, shops and different restaurants. The rooms are decent, spacious and clean. The restaurant serves nice Ethiopian cuisine, international dishes should improve somewhat. The gym I haven't visited but the pool is a giid place to relax. All in all, I enjoyed my time there, they are improving constantly and are keen to find a solution whenever something doesn't work.

I had stay in this hotel with my wife. The hotel has great facilities, services,clean and comfortable room with best view of the Hawassa city and mountain. We had great experience in good location. All days our room was decored and full of fruit's. During our stay we invited to get steam, sauna and swimming pool services also it was great and nice, we never seen this kind of hospitality in Ethiopian before. We love the place and people. The review I was seen in trip advisor is relay didn't match the hotel standard.

The staff provided an excellent service. They are hard working, resourceful, and always ready to help. They answered all their phone calls. The marketing department representative assigned to us were exceptional in meeting our requirements. The conference room supervisor also provided a superb job. From the reception, to the waiters the staff are professional, friendly and they do it all with a smile on their face.

The hotel has great customer service. The staffs are very welcoming and helpful. They cooperate in every situation you need help. The food is great too. The rooms are clean and comfy. They generally have great service.

I had a great experience during my stay and great hospitality.The rooms are clean and it has free wifi.The restuarant has also good service.The halls are adequate space for serving the customers.The hotel is located in convinent place.
