Came to celebrate my birthday and had a nice time. Everyone smiles at you. Got a cake from them too..
Pro:
-Service is super fast and feel like luxury.
-Indoor pool was great and very clean.
-Gym had trainers in the evening i guess.
-Breakfast spread was huge with both veg and non veg. English breakfast was also wide.
-centre of the city yet so quiet
-Bed is huge and rooms are okaying spacious
- iPad with lot of high tech
- expresso was had to make but they give help u.

Lovely location , and good food in the dining areas. , but everything else was far below our expectations . The hotel is in need of a complete makeover. The rooms are tired looking with furnishings from the 70’s. Our first room. (3) was directly over the kitchen with a very noisy extractor fan than ran from 5:30am to 11:30pm. We switched room to the third floor which was quieter during the day but next to the top floor restaurant and kitchen plus a smoking area directly outside our room for the restaurant guests. The room was very dated and hasn’t been renovated for a very long time . The layout was particularly awkward as it was impossible to get past the wardrobe with the door open or put the bags inside the wardrobe . The room itself was large but the empty space was wasted , adding an extra chair would have gone a long way to making it a more comfortable room. There were plenty of staff , but most just standing about doing very little , getting a tea and coffee at breakfast was a 10 to 15 minute wait , despite at least one person standing idle at the machine. The reception was unable to organise any tours for us , which we felt was odd. Pool although a little small was nice and warm , but did not have a shallow end ( 5feet throughout )so it would not be children friendly

We have been absolutely mesmerised by the hospitality at Le Dupleix. We stayed at Le Dupleix for 4 days, 3 nights and right from the moment we stepped in we were made to feel at home. Few things stood out: 1. I must highly rate the empathy of the staff. Kavitha and her team were highly understanding about our siutation since we were travelling with our child, who celebrated his 2nd birthday there. 2. Kavitha, a native of Puducherry, helped us curate our travel itinerary in and around Puducherry. The suggestions she provided were really helpful and helped us a lot in not just visiting the tourist spots but in understanding the city from inside out. 3. The food was amazing. Having been rated highly in different reviews, it is indeed didn't disappoint anyways. I would definitely recommend the place to my acquaintances and also would definitely love to stay there once again.

In a simple city we loved our cosy stay in this property. The rooms are big and so is the buffet. The food is authentic south Indian and has global options too. It has a swimming pool and spa facility too. The hotel staff is very courteous but language is a problem. Hence communication seems to be a challenge.

Few mins walk from rock beach Villa du ocean is in the heart of French Quarter. The hotel has a rooftop restaurant ( just had breakfast there which was average) and a pool overlooking the church and also a slight view of the ocean, just a slight as other buildings were blocking the view obviously ;) We stayed for a night on the room on the ground floor which was good for a short stay, no complains. Having arrived much ahead of the normal checkin time we decided to go for a ride around the town and came back for an early checkin. The front desk staff is very helpful and courteous. Will certainly recommend the hotel.

리리뷰어객실은 훌륭합니다. 5-star 속성과 동등하며 모든 좋은 것들이 끝나는 곳입니다. 호텔은 라운지와 옥상 레스토랑을 광고했지만 둘 다 누락되었습니다. 직원의 큰 덩어리는 영어나 힌디어를 이해하지 못하고 말하지 않으므로 의사 소통이 문제였습니다. 무료 아침 식사는 옵션과 맛 모두 정말 나빴습니다. 룸 서비스 음식은 괜찮 았지만 부분은 너무 낮았습니다. 레스토랑의 운영 시간이 너무 짧아서 저녁 9시 20분까지 저녁 주문을 요청했습니다. 그들은 좋은 Wi-Fi를 가지고 있었지만 인터넷에 로그인하기 위해 몇 가지 코드를 요청하기 위해 매일 리셉션에 전화해야했습니다.

Great Hotel ..! Everything was perfectly arranged for us and the staffs were really friendly and caring.. Me and my friends would definitely choose Seethala again and again every time we go to Pondicherry ..Thankyou for the wonderful experience and enjoyable time we shared with you Vignesh , Madhan and the other person whose name I don’t remember .. We were extremely moved by your kindness and compassion ❤️

리리뷰어We stayed at this hotel for a week .Just a few minutes away from White town but we had a superb experience in terms of cleanliness, hygiene,staff was very helpful,food at their in house restaurant was delicious, housekeeping facilities , professionalism with regard to dealing with customers.Special mention to Miss Vishalakshmi and Miss Parvathy who took care of us very well .Also Nitin who served us so many meals at May Kitchen was very good .The food, all meals especially the French cuisine which we ate once were.prepared well.All in all we had wonderful seven days and would definitely recommend to others to stay at Hotel Aura.

SSiddharthThiagThe place was near all major tourist spots and was easy to identify, reach. The staff were welcoming, courteous and well spoken. The check-in and check-out- process were handled swiftly. We had booked a Standard Double Room which was spacious and very well maintained. The room was cleaned in the noons in the presence of the guests. The TV in the room was a Samsung Smart TV which helped us stream shows on OTT as well apart from the Cable. The Breakfast offered at the rooftop between 8 - 9.30 A.M. It was completely vegetarian, very good and well managed with multiple south indian offerings ***** with a Live Dosa Counter. The reception also arranges for Cabs/Scooters for sight seeing.

4 stars for the chef, 2.5 for the place. We had gone here for 31st dinner, i suffer from gluten allergy, chef Karna was helpful in guiding and preparing food for me. Although it was really difficult to catch hold of the staff, had to personally go and ask for update on our order. The food was tasty though, we had risotto and bbq cottage cheese with herb rice.

리리뷰어The hotel is centrally located with proximity to main shopping area. Rooms are large and clean. The vegetarian restaurant attached to the hotel has great food but let down by extremely poor service. Even clearing the leftover plates and cleaning the tables takes about 10-15 mins, another 5-7 mins to take the order and even longer for food delivery. Overall it leaves you with a feeling that employees of the hotel are not very happy and are doing work for name sake, something that the owners should note and rectify.
