Beautiful property, a bit expensive but worth the penny..!!

An absolutely gorgeous property, mind blowing hospitality, The server Lalit in the restaurant took care of all our needs, he even remembered our names . Overall come once a year to be pampered and be treated like royalty. Only one feedback , why hang on to colonial past and have pictures of English viceroy in the lobby , even though they were connected to a he place , but I’m sure we can have a local , to look up to Believe that being a nationalist is not to be ashamed of

Best property I have ever been to in terms of hospitality. Special thanks to Mr Varun and Mr Manoj . Our room was beautiful. Best part of the property is pool area and infinity pool. Our 1 year old baby enjoyed equally. We would love to visit again with our complete family soon.

We found our experience at Wildflower Hall quite exceptional. As experienced worldwide travellers we were struck by the sheer consistency of the very high level of hospitality. Particularly noticing that every aspect of the building from the bedrooms to the various public areas had been designed so that everything was easy and accessible, even down to the use of the gym and pool area. Most outstanding however was the consistent nature of the warm and friendly nature of the all of the staff who frequently appeared to be one step ahead of us in anticipating our needs! I have no hesitation in recommending Wildflower Hall to any discerning traveller.

The experience in each and every aspect of our stay was exceptional. All hotel staff from all departments that we interacted with be it restaurant, dining, house keeping, front desk, activities team, Spa & pool team, everyone went above and beyond to make a Gold star experience for us. The hospitality is one of the best from all hotels I’ve been to. Wildflower Hall Shimla is an experience you need to have atleast once in your life. Beyond brilliant hospitality and stay. Don’t think twice on this, come stay here. The food and views are extraordinary

Stayed for 7 nights and everything was fantastic. Staff are amazing. Food was very very good. Not excessively expensive. Local walks are nice. Croquet a good way to kill some time. All in one of the best hotels we have stayed in. Very rare not to find anything to complain about.

Amazing experience for our stay for 2 nights. The valley view was simply great from our room and the hospital was great.

Almost 16-17 years back when I had just started working and gotten recently married, I accompanied my brother with his little son on a trip to Shimla. Those days of almost no internet/tripadvisor, we happened to spot this gorgeous property and drove in (just to check it out). We were promptly shown the door (citing a no kids policy). I guess those times were more elitest but no offense taken. Since that day, I have always wanted to come stay in this property to experience the 'exclusivity' myself. A lot of time has obviously passed. I have an eleven years old son, have travelled the world (well almost) and stayed in some great hotels in India and abroad so does the experience of this stay now, still invoke the same sense of privilege, wonder and exclusivity? The answer is a resounding yes. The Oberoi Wildflower is without a doubt one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever stayed in. The castle like outer facade, the fabulous wooden interiors, the heritage charm combined with modernity (I make it a point to judge the bath fittings, washroom, how well the windows seal, the quality of the elevator etc. purely on how 'modern' they are, no rustic charm needed in these aspects, thank you). The service is exceptional and best in class.Hand written notes, smiling staff who often remember your last name when they bump into you and greet you. Impeccably dressed (both male and female) and very well versed in languages. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are tastefully done, prepared with care and plated to perfection (including your regular omelette and toast). If it gets too chilly for dinner in the terrace, they provide blankets! Also after every dish, they ask for genuine feedback as well. The Oberoi does better than most on all this but a couple of unique things stood out. Tea, cakes and pastries kept near the entrance in the mornings for early checkouts. Also my adhoc asks for a cup of tea or coffee during the day were served with compliments. Special thanks to one of the front desk ladies (Suhana) who came out herself to the garden with tea and biscuits on a chilly evening. Also special thanks to housekeeping who carefully place each and every tube/bottle/spectacles that you randomly spread and make a mess. The quality of housekeeping is beyond a doubt, the best I have ever seen. The hand written note I mentioned earlier was infact from the housekeeper lady who left an iPad screen cleaner (they want to help keep everything clean!). I have never seen this either in my past experiences at hotels. The hotel organises several nice treks and there are plenty of activities (including a temperature controlled swimming pool and a hot tub/jacuzzi, a tennis court that switches to an ice rink during winters). However for kids old enough to be almost teens (as my 11 year old) there are age restrictions on lot of them (no mountain biking, no jacuzzi, no golf). Perhaps this is understandably but maybe can be worked upon so that the stays becomes more enjoyable es
