The photos do not in anyway match reality the information says self check in no problem but what I do have a problem with is the other things not mentioned no laundry/servicing the room empty your own bin extra towels £3 mouldy cheese at breakfast info states breakfast included but not continental only gluten free requested as 1 guest has allergy not provided until 2nd day of stay told they forgot the only positive is the bed was comfortable

Brilliant B&B in Sheringham. Clean and newly decorated. Great bed. Really nice breakfast. Although it's 'only' continental, it's got a huge variety and choice, we were pleasantly surprised. Although it was self Check-In , there were really friendly hosts during breakfast on both day to show us where things were and clear up. Really recommended .

Mount Lavinia was OK for a weekend, but we would not have wanted to stay longer. Breakfasts were excellent and included in the price. The man on duty at breakfast-time was helpful. The main problem with a longer stay would be the towels policy. Each guest was given a bath towel and a hand towel. If you wanted another towel the cost was £3 per towel. Our towels remained damp after our first use of them. The system was self check-in and we never saw the owner. My booking with ********** said that I would pay at hotel. When we were leaving I asked about payment. The man on duty at breakfast phoned the owner who said he had taken the payment. For us this was all quite strange, as we normally pay at check-in.

Do not book this place!! Disgusting charity shop furniture and very very disappointing shower and toilet . I dropped an earring so had to lift the bed 2 inch thick dust under it. Creaking floor boards from the room above which was annoying everyone someone moved in the night and a security light outside the room which glazed like a search light. Plaster falling if the walls in the dining area with a very sub standered breakfast which you had to clear away yourself . No service done in room at all in the 5 nights we stayed and had actually paid for six but had had enough !! Only clean towels if you chased the owner for them. Overall a very unpleasant experience

£97 for one night- a room with charity shop furniture, grubby carpet, walls that need repainting desperately (marks all over the place and dusty), internet that was too weak to play the TV channels, a net curtain that fell off when touched (I had to bodge it back onto the wall), creaking floorboards above, shower walls with crumbling black dirty grouting, ....just an awful experience. The owner needs to look at the price, and go to other accommodations that charge the same, or indeed ones that are £40 more and then think " does my accommodation match that?" "is it as good as the nice pub down the road?" If not, why not? The whole bedroom needs trashing and starting again. I would say for that price you can't offer that room for £97!! £45 maybe.... In fact the whole house needs trashing and starting again. It was like a grubby student digs small house pretending to be a real B&B accommodation setting. It was not. The owner should please refit and rebuild the whole house as a matter of urgency. It's not up to standard, it's certainly not 2022. How people can make a review that says it's "good" is very surprising indeed!

The room (Kandy) was nothing like the pictures. It smelt, it was unkempt and very tired. The curtain rail fell off in our hands, the door opened on to the car park and the radiator barely on. We were given a flannel as a hand towel. The pictures show modern rooms and bathrooms. This room was not as represented.
