Travelled here for work and it was a great get away in the evenings. Chilled vibes, will stay again

Decent size room, nice bed and generally clean. Breakfast was good.

Very peaceful quiet and relaxing nights sleep. The best for a while. Will definitely return.

Very good

A good hotel in a good location for nearby Sheffield, Rotherham and M1. Its next to a building site and whilst construction noise didn't bother me they did have this massive huge light shining towards the hotel for some unknown reason. After a very long day and an evening meeting in the hotel, I ordered room service around 8.20pm and the QR code cased thingy said to look for email updates. After an hour I called room service option but didn't even dial, I went downstairs to reception and they checked and said it had been cancelled as the kitchen closes at 9pm - yes but I made order at 8.20! Issue is I am type 1 diabetic so wasn't helpful not even to have that communicated, after I raised it and they checked only then did I receive a cancellation. The staff who I spoke to were excellent, very apologetic, offered to have something cooked and even offered me a free drink but the fault was with the system and could have had dire consequences.

My stay was one to forget. Even though I booked privileged room for comfort and enjoyable stay, that wasn’t the case. The heating wasn’t working but they were not willing to give me another room. Instead, I was given a small mobile heater which couldn’t heat the room well. I had to stay in the semi cold for 3 nights. This was a hotel that used to be one of my favourite in Sheffield but no longer. It’s not as it used to be few years back and has become poor in quality and service. Privileged rooms are supposed to be the best rooms available and one should also receive the best quality service. Very disappointed and dissatisfied.

Very easy to find the hotel, just off the M1. Quiet location and a few amenities nearby, although you do need a car to get to them. Hotel clean and breakfast as expected. Only reason I gave 4-stars for service was that it was busy when we were there and had to wait a while to be served at reception and for breakfast to be replenished when everything ran out. Rooms clean and very comfy. Would definitely thin of using this one again if ever back in Sheffield.

Not sure this hotel warrants the price tag. Service was friendly enough but there was clearly not enough staff on. This resulted in an unacceptably long wait for the meal (and another lady drenched in a full pint of beer as the waiter was too stressed and too rushed). The area around is pretty grim but we knew where we were staying (again though, questions about the price tag). The kettle didn’t work and the A/C unit is too loud.

The wardrobe in our room looked like it was going to fall over at any moment. Breakfast was cold, slow and limited. Most of the safe were really lovely.
