Very nice beach. Plenty of beautiful cabanas. You can order food which was yummy but the drinks were not. Overpriced and some of our drinks tasted like no alcohol was in them; we had to tell the waiter and he was very nice about it. The music is way too loud. I’m not sure I would consider this place good for very young kids. We brought our 3 year old with us. The water in the pool looked unclean at times. It’s a big place and was very crowded when we were there.

Their rooms have cockroahes, and they don’t even do anything about it. I just got the massage from the reception, that I could kill it myself. Then turned up another one, then another….how disgusting is that! At the end of our stay, we gave a live one back to the reception - since they like them. We Never Ever come back!

The staff was really nice, and delivered a great service. Our room wasn’t cleaned often but the buffet was delicious with a great service. Also the bar staff was really charming and amazing and you could always get your drinks during the day by the amazing Vadim. The hotel has an Ancient Greek vibe and is really beautiful. The whole family had an amazing time.

We had a super vacation, place is perfect for families with kids. The only negative thing is the coffee. Food, location, staff all amazing. Lots of activities for adults and also for kids organized by hotel staff.

Five stars based on expectations vs reality. Many factors that played a part here.. we travelled off season so not many guests. We travelled beginning of season so staff are eager to get started and have a high quality of service. We travelled with our two kids and got a room easy accessible to the restaurants and pool. We got a great deal so we really felt we got value for our money. Based on that - 5 stars. Nothing to complain about. Maria down at the beach bar was lovely, as was Giannis, our evening bartender. The service and hospitality from Nikos, Miron(?) and all the other staff at the Hermes restaurant was amazing. We always felt welcome and never had to excuse our mess from the kids, or the kids running around, etc. always giving high fives and welcoming us back for the next meal. When traveling in may, keep in mind the weather can be a bit unpredictable and the pools are cold in the morning. Would be nice to get beach/pool towels without having to have a cash only deposit of €10.

Hello, we were at the hotel from September 11 to September 23. Great holiday, I can only recommend. I read a lot of negative reviews here before leaving. We went with our two-year-old son. I was afraid to go. People here complained about the rooms, food, terrible beach, dirty dishes, not good food. We arrived and I have to say everything was great! The room is beautiful, the sea the first 2 days big waves, stones, then small waves, great for fooling around and you could go into the sea without shoes, it was gradual and sand. The staff was great for us, they took great care of us in the restaurant, they always seat you at the table, they treated the little one great! Nice service on the beach and at the pool. Drinks good, the selection was enough for me. The food could be chosen differently every day.. The hotel is not in the center, but on the side, so if you expect city traffic, go elsewhere. 2 mini markets and a restaurant, which we also visited even though we had all inclusive, were enough for us, because we went to relax. There are stairs, but you can get everywhere by elevator. I would return to the hotel again.

We had really great time here, we made a lot of new friends. Our animator Vadim was great, he has a great sense of humor and does really good animation. We glad to meet him because without him our holidays won’t be the same. Thank u for everything and hope to see you again.

The food was very good with many choices.The staff was very friendly. Also if you have kids the pool and the slides are a plus. The room was ok with a garden view. I recommend this place with eyes closed.

I loved staying at the Rethymno Mare hotel in kreta, Greece, it was an amazing time with my family and the new friends I made there. The workers were very nice people and my son and I had a good time together with the hotel staff who became our friends Bessy is a nice person, she is very polite and helpful, she works at the kiosk in the hotel. Giannis and the bartender he is very polite, friendly and makes the best drinks 😊 Luigi was the entertainer and always included us in the activities, very nice. Cristina at the reception and the entire team, grade 10, always helped us with all the tips for tours and all the facilities. the restaurant is very good, Nikos and Miro are very polite staff and we felt at home 😊 the Spar is wonderful! we had our time to relax with our dear masseuse Areti, who was very welcoming to me and my son. The entire team at the Hotel congratulates you, cleanliness and quality, everything is top notch for us 🤗🫡
