이 호텔에서의 나의 경험은 매우 좋았습니다. 나는 밤늦게 도착했고 직원들은 나의 도착을 기다리고 있었고, 기분 좋은 미소와 쉬운 체크인으로 나는 나의 방으로 안내되었다. 깨끗한 방, 환경, 레스토랑 및 직원들은 매우 친절했습니다.

Fabulous time staying at this hotel, lovely quiet corner swim up room, sun all day from around 11am. Room 310 Staff helpful and friendly special shoutout to Trainee Sarah from the bar, today is her last day as a trainee and should definitely be employed, lovely and friendly and very competent. We did want to extend our room on last day but not available however reception sorted a room for us to use before our flight,

Wonderful stay here in February 2024. First time to The Gambia so a little bit apprehensive about what our experience might be, but the whole holiday exceeded our expectations. All hotel staff are friendly and eager to assist. Hotel is very clean and comfortable. Do yourself a favor and book a swim up room, excellent! Just decide whether you want the sunny or shady side and email the hotel with your preference. Go out of the hotel and walk to the main road, there are taxis, bars, restaurants and even a small shop (which is very Gambian!). If you can, go on the Janjanbureh 2 day excursion, it’s rustic but what an experience! All in all, brilliant holiday.

Another lovely stay at The African Princess Hotel , staff are lovely , nothing is too much trouble . Weather perfect , we really enjoyed being back in the Gambia. A big thank you to Musa ( head of housekeeping ) also Roy & the breakfast staff ,Mathias , Mariama , Fatou , , and Modu & George etc in the evening . Also the Pool boys who looked after us every day . Hope too see you all agin November .

There is nothing I did not love about this place. It started off with a room change to meet our needs, so whilst we waited for this to take place we tried the cocktails. The staff are impeccable and all go above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible, all of them. Room cleaning staff, bar & restaurant staff, gardeners, pool attendants & life guards, reception, customer services, cooks, chefs and even management. The rooms are clean, bright and in good taste with the biggest and most comfortable bed. The pools.....ahhh. What can I say about the pools, there are thousands of them. From swim up pools to your room, a deep blue main pool and the lovely long pool alongside block 400's (where we stayed). Cleaned daily and kept in excellent and safe condition. You just wanna jump in, your just gotta jump in. The food was excellent too. Buffet breakfast with my own style pancakes to order (thank you Edward). Evening meals with very generous portions. Al la carte for the first few days then changed to buffet once the hotel became fuller. Topped off with a good dose of hotel entertainment and yes you guessed it more cocktails. A big shout goes out to Ibrahim who is the best bar Cocktail Maker in the World. He made us the best Long Island Ice Tea's & Pina Colada's you could ever wish for. Finally a big thank you to Yankuba who treated us like family from the very beginning and helped me out with a problem with ease and integrity even after I had returned home. The hotel was right on a beautiful sandy beach, where you can watch the fishermen bring in their catch, and locals at leisure. Sunbeds and umbrellas are free from the hotel. Grounds are clean, gardens and pools are beautifully kept. Rooms are big and modern with AC and good WiFi and all expected amenities We were bed and breakfast, so we ate locally at night. Plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. I would not take young children as there are no amenities for them, recommend adults only.

My last stay in February in the African Princess Bech hotel was a nice stay, the hotel is rated as a 4 star hotel, ok for the infrastructure, the very nice swimming pool, the poolstaff and lifeguard very helpfull and friendly.The bar an food staff is very slow in delivery orders and not well trained. To be honest the food in the hotel is not food for a 4 star. in my eyes downgrade to a 3 star. Adequate , simple breakfast but during my whole stay idem stuff. The big issue is the menu for the pool bar, the lunch and the diner is the same poor selections, pizza, pasta, burger( very dry ) chicken this was teh selection for a 4 star hotel food!!! No local food a all. Some day I requested a pizza 4 cheeses, not available, even for the spaghetti bolognaise, not available ..; shame... Ordening drink at the bar and food takes 45minutes... Te reception staff is chaotic and not responsible and not well trained. Extention a of room stay is problematic I requested a shuttel service upon arrival, well geuss no shuttle, for the return after consulting several times the reception the hotel charged me 60.00euro, is the teh limo of Lady Gaga?! While changing money I left my key of the room. At 1h15 night teh reception called me via phone, I did not pick up the phone, after 10 minutes knocking at the door, did not appreciate it, was sleeping. My impression, teh food an drinks are overrated int the hotel. So conclusion this is not a 4 star hotel taking in consideration the poor food and service.
