Freina Mountain Lifestyle Hotel

Sometimes you get lucky in life, and this was one of those times. This boutique inn exceeded our expectations! Run efficiently and warmly by a wonderful family, from the moment we entered we felt well taken care of. Our room was well equipped and spacious. Our balcony looked over the ski runs. The beds were comfortable and every day it was made sparkling clean as we skied. Right down to the ski locker room equipped with a wall of boot dryers all details thought out. Afternoon tea awaited us every late afternoon. The food was incredible and we enjoyed having “our table” waiting for us for the yummy breakfasts and gourmet dinners. The Kostner family was there to answer every question we had from directions to ski areas to generalities about the area. The clientele we met have become friends! We came as guests, left as family. This is a gem in the beautiful area of Selva!

Nice a**osphere but wine measuring is ridiculous and a fregatura! the a**osphere was ok but quite noisy as it was a school holiday week. I ordered a glass of wine (there were several different wines by the glass at different price levels from 5 euros to 8 euros) the glass of wine arrives and i dont see the bottle that the wine came from and it was served in a glass with a line etched in it. Barely can get 4 sips from the glass before you need to order another one. considering the prices of the second dishes are an average of 28 euros each i find this measuring to have cheapened the restaurant. the food was ok but not what you would expect from the prices. we unfortunately will not be going back there and i do hope they change the way they serve their wine and also wait staff which were not very pleasant.

Titolari simpatici, servizio impeccabile, camerieri preparati e attenti. Cibo ottimo, camere accoglienti e ampie. Direttamente sulle piste con impianti per il sellaronda (in entrambi i sensi). Parcheggio coperto comodo e ampio, disponibile.

Wij komen hier al meer dan 10 jaar omwille van de goede ligging, de mooie kamers, het lekkere eten en vooral de zeer aangename sfeer die de familie Kostner hier creëert. Iedereen is hier om ter vriendelijkst en doet zijn uiterste best om de gasten een aangenaam verblijf te geven.

Familiäres Hotel mit viel Liebe zum Detail . Haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt . Lage super , man kann sofort in die Sellaronda einsteigen . Wenige Gehminuten ins Dorf . Apres Ski ums Eck , hört man aber im Hotel nicht . Wir haben es auf der schönen Terrasse genossen unseren Apres Ski Drink zu nehmen. Essen hervorragend . Kommen sicher wieder einmal .

Just finished a 10 day skiing holiday at Hotel Freina. This is a wonderful family run hotel and is very conveniently located in Val Gardena, ski-in, ski-out, with a poma lift a few meters away to allow you to ski down to the Ciampinoi lift. Rooms are modern chalet-chic, and quite comfortable. Spotlessly clean. Breakfasts are plentiful, and very good, with the option of having à la carte eggs, etc. prepared for you. Really excellent caffè (NOT coffee capsules). We had booked on a B&B basis, but did enjoy a few dinners in the restaurant, which is quite busy and quite good (also very decently priced). The ski room is very convenient, well equipped with boot warmers, but does not offer individual lockers. During our stay, complimentary tea and baked goods were served in the afternoon for hotel guests, a nice touch when you are returning from your ski day. Complimentary cocktails and hors d’œuvres for guests were served on Sunday evenings. These little things count and make you feel cared for during your stay. I would highly recommend Hotel Freina for a ski holiday in the Dolomites.

Right on the ski slopes and in the heart of Selva di Val Gardena this small boutique hotel offers exceptionally friendly and fantastic service. Nothing is too much trouble and receives instant attention. Very comfortable rooms; afternoon teas and great breakfasts and dinners. At the time of our visit just after New Year the popular dining room can become crowded and a little noisy with many patrons visiting from around the town.

Très très bel établissement Chambre spacieuse Salle de bain magnifique Et un parking en sous sol au top (Aucun problème d'accès avec une voiture sportive !) Nous n’avons pas mangé le soir au restaurant,juste une simple planche (très bonne,17€ rien à dire) Je recommande. Hôtel au pied des pistes à la saison d’hiver. Je recommande.

Dopo tanti anni che a fine stagione soggiorniamo all'Hotel Freina, si conferma in assoluto il posto migliore dove trascorrere una vacanza in Val Gardena. La qualità è eccellente, l'accoglienza unica e sempre cordiale, disponibile ad esaudire ogni richiesta, sia a tavola che in stanza, da dove, dai grandi balconi, si ammira un panorama unico. Senso di pace e tranquillità vissuti a 2 passi dai principali sentieri del Sella Ronda, un enorme plateatico attrezzato per ogni evenienza o evento, ampio garage coperto dotato di prese per la ricarica e baik room dove è possibile svolgere manutenzioni alle proprie bici. Un bar in puro stile tirolese sempre aperto, dove alla sera è possibile intrattenersi con l'affabile Klaus prodigio di battute e suggerimenti per nuove mete. Il ristorante che non teme confronti, la carta dei vini da enoteca, la ricercatezza in ogni particolare, pur mantenendo la sana tradizione Ladina. Davvero consigliatissimo per chiunque voglia immergersi nel meraviglioso mondo delle Dolomiti.
