42 아파트 호텔(42 Apart-Hotel)

A fantastic 2 nights stay. We booked here, as we were at the show at Bath Halls, which is directly opposite. Free parking, we parked in front of the apartments. Check in very easy, room was at the back, on the first floor. There are no lifts. The apartment was massive. A king-size bed, and was so comfy. A well stocked kitchen, with a seating area, and lovely bathroom, with shower. plenty of teas, coffees, milk, and toiletries in the bathroom. The whole area was spotless. and very well presented. The TV also had netflix, etc, which we did not need. There were only 2 minor issues. The pillows were a bit flat, could have had better ones, and no hot water for the shower on the first night. But they did not spoil our stay

Looked good on first impressions, room was very warm and stuffy, no fan or air conditioning, no hairdryer in room, no soundproofing, could hear people vomiting by our window, toilet seat was extremely loose, pillows were beaten up and lumpy, gentleman on reception on check out just wanted us out and not interested in issues, would not stay here again

Was looking forward so much to staying here , as photos on website looked amazing!! Upon arrival we were greeted with a very friendly welcome and check-in was easy peasy. Double room was quite luxurious , loved colour scheme of yellows and greys! Had a problem locking and unlocking door but soon got hang of it.Not a lot of room to get by between the bed and the massive tv., but we managed as we re both slim build. Went to our gig at Bath Halls, returned to room, settled into the room but became more and more aware of a hammering sound coming from below our window as sat watching tv., when we wanted to go to sleep, was more aware of sound, it sounded like an extractor fan starting up, bad rattling , hammering, then dying down again, repeating and repeating every 5 minutes throughout night, annoying to say the least. Decided to complain eventually at reception and they could only say they couldnt be responsible for noises outside and it was maybe coming from the take away next door, but that was already closed! Didnt think they were very enthusiastic to help, and never asked us if we wanted to change room. Had to put earplugs in but could still hear, rattling n loud hammering in the background! Spoilt stay really as wanted to feel refreshed in morning for our next day, shame because it was so handy for Bath Halls, bit unlucky there, put us off ever staying again ! Surely they can look into where this noise is coming from !

We stayed here for 2 nights to attend a local wedding. The room was nicely decorated but so dark, no window at all and dark decor . Bit depressing. The shower sliding door kept coming off the track. bed was comfortable and good towels and linens. Breakfast was only served in room. Would have preferred to go into a dining rom. The breakfast itself however was very good value and excellent , generous choice to suit all tastes and dietary requirements. Parking outside the building was very convenient and free. Staff were friendly but no one made our room up and breakfast trays were still in there, no clean towels or top up of toilet roll. When we returned in the early hours I had to pop to reception to rectify this. Staff were apologetic and friendly but I felt like I was a nuisance. Staff did not make me feel this way but I did not like having to disturb them. I would have liked the opportunity to book a room with a window(well, never expected a room NOT to have one!). We had to go outside to check the weather before leaving for the wedding!!

Excellent location, directly across the street from the venue I was attending. Well appointed spacious room. Walking distance to the train station.

Convenient business hotel, clean and comfortable room, spacious, though I couldn't work out the skylight controls (if that's what the switch just inside the room was? Nice service, friendly staff. Good Indian takeaway (cash only) across the road. Next time (because I would stay there again - good location, good value, easy parking) I'd opt for breakfast elsewhere and think about not having to work in the room as the "desk" space isn't comfortable - that said, there is a 'lounge' area (I think) where you could (and I could have!) set up the laptop.... .
