인기 스크랜턴 이코노 로지 호텔

This hotel is lovely from the outside and the lobby area is great with a nod to its former existence as a train station. Check in was ok, I’d been emailed ahead of my arrival to see if I wanted an upgrade which of course I did but on arrival was told that this was only available if I’d booked direct with Radisson. There needs to be some clarity regarding this as it soured my stay. It’s in a great location with plenty of places to eat locally. I was tempted to eat at the hotel restaurant but read some reviews and opted not to so I can’t vouch for their accuracy. The room was nice but the furniture looked a bit tired and in need of being replaced sooner rather than later. I’m not sure if I’d stay here again as I think there are better options out there.

When one thing goes wrong you say 'oh well', when two things go wrong you get annoyed, when more is poor... you can really get cheesed off. We booked the hotel because they had an on site restaurant and were right near the interstate we were travelling. Nothing on the website said that the restaurant was closed, but it was. We were looking forward to a quiet night in after a day of travelling. There weren't any luggage carts available when we checked in. We were lucky to get the only one in the lobby on the way out. It worked okay except for the extremely low tire. It made turning a bit difficult. Then there was the room itself. The tub had moldy grout, the floor was loose and the laminate boards slid around. The in room refridgerator was off when we arrived, so it took a while to get up to temperature. It never got cold enough for the freezer to work. The body wash dispenser in the shower was empty and the shampoo was very low... empty when we left. I apologize to the next person who gets that room. The hotel checked us out before we left our room, so when we went to get ice we couldn't get back in the room. This was 8 am, so way before check out time. I did voice my concerns with the staff on the way out and was told there was grab & go breakfast since there was no restaurant. They just said sorry to the other concerns. High fructose juice and pop tarts aren't my go to for a grab & go breakfast. In general the hotel is old and tired. The hallways on the room floors are beige and plain. The entry floor and lobby is nice, but we didn't spend time down there. Needless to say, we won't be staying there in the future.

Lovely and clean hotel, very pleasant check-in experience, and the room had everything we needed. We had an accessible room and it featured a very large bathroom, although there was a ledge on the tub that would be a problem for some people to get into the bath. Breakfast was good; a couple of hot dishes available (scrambled egg and mini quiche) and good coffee, juice, cereal selection. There is a gym but we didn't use it. There is also a small shop to purchase snacks, but we didn't buy anything there. Very close to good shopping and restaurant area, so there is lots to choose from in that regard.

We stayed here as part of a group bus trip to Massachusetts. The hotel seemed either new or newly renovated. Everything was clean and neat. The beds, linens and pillows were good quality. There is a sink outside the bathroom for a second person to use. Ironing board and hairdryer are provided. The hot breakfast was good quality, and had a nice variety. The dining/gathering area was welcoming. Would definitely stay here again.
