After a diusappointing hotel in Jaipur we were somewhat suspicious of a hotel in Ranthambore, which seemed largely to cater for those going on safari trips through the nearby game park. We need not have been concerned. From the start it looked like a great choice. Beautifully presented in lovely surrounds. We found the check in process friendly, efficient and fast. We were shown to our room through a very stylist hotel interior. Our room was tastefully presented with all the amenities. A minor drawback was the two single beds but that’s all All staff were very attentive. Oddly, hot water is available for only two periods through the day. 4.30 - 11 then about the same in the afternoon. After two days it became apparent that the water, ever during the “on hot water time” never got beyond Luke warm. And the water from the shower head was always a mere trickle. Meals are via a Bain Marie process with all choices being Indian. All seemed very fresh and tasty. The hotel is situated well off, probably 1 km, the main road, up a winding unmade track. Rather strange given the great presentation of the hotel. Certainly not a hotel where you would go for a walk into the town. Clearly the hotel is booked almost 100% for tours of the nearby game park. In this the hotel prepares early tea/coffee for those partaking in the game drives Definately worth staying if taking a tour of the game park Found wifi very on and off while we were there
