Hotel Lido

High expectations will often lead to dissapointments .Had a lunch at the lovley beach terrace -but dry overcooked mussels gave us a bad start . Got a nice room 406 at topfloor until we realised that the corridor outside room served as a cleaning utility cupboard ..with noisy activites early mornings .Tried to get to room via elevator which was constantly occupied luggage and people waiting at each floor for their turn . The former glory and friendly service just dissapeared .

We stayed in this charming hotel and were bowled over by the care and professionalism of the staff and the quality of the lunchtime menu. We sat on the beautiful terrace overlooking the beach and enjoyed many dishes all of high quality. The pasta dishes deserve a special mention as do the staff.

We booked a suite with a balcony overlooking the church. Only to figure out upon arrival that our suite did not have any balcony. The room had a strong smell of chemical cleaning utensils. This for 560 EUR per night! Never again! They sell you rooms with incorrect information.

Our stay at the Lido was wonderful. The location on the beach is convenient to shops and restaurants. The staff were exceptionally helpful. Breakfast was full of varieties and we enjoyed dining on the patio. The only negative things I could say about the Lido would be that there wasn’t coffee in the room. And, only one machine at breakfast. The other thing was the beach chair seating was decided by the man we checked in with at the beach. Depending on your room, that was where you sat. (We assume) On the second day I asked for the front row by the water. He wouldn’t let us, even though there were six available sets of chairs open all afternoon. I can only assume it’s because we only had a partial ocean view room? Anyway, very odd experience. Overall, a wonderful hotel and I would recommend a stay here!

We have been received with professionalism and kindness. The location is very good: two minutes walk to shopping streets. The hotel has got direct access to their private beach. The room with sea view is great !

Great to be back again to our favorite spot on the Italian Rivera . This hotel has got style and tradition .We booked ourselves into the newly renovated rooms with seaview . Excellent place to be for a sundowner.Friendly and professional staff .

Alassio is a pearl and so is the Hotel Lido. Amazingly nice, friendly and professional staff. The rooms are superb. Clean, airy, comfortable and aesthetic. The hotel is situated in a more residential area and just a few minutes from everything. With the bikes one can use for free it is a blast to take off and visit the harbor or just see the other side of town. Will be back for sure.

Family run hotel in a 1920's building. Alassio is not cheap but this was definitely worth our money. We stayed at the Hotel Lido for the 2nd year in a row. We -a couple with 2 children aged 13- had a large suite with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Lots of space, very clean, nice bedding. The hotel has a good restaurant with a small and cosy terrace on the beachfront. There is a private beach which is very well kept. Lovely staff, excellent service, everyone was very helpful.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel per un week end lungo. Posizione ottima con spiaggia privata inclusa nella camera. Camera molto confortevole e spaziosa. Personale di una gentilezza e squisitezza fuori dal comune. Nel complesso una gran bella esperienza. Ci torneremo.
