We loved everything about La Bandita. Starting from the welcome. Daniella is such a lovely warm person who goes out of her way to make you feel welcome, and Melina & Tomas are both wonderful people. The house is beautiful, set in the hillside in huge grounds, 2km from the lovely town of Sassetta. The restaurant is excellent and the wine list even better. The beach is about 20 minutes drive away, and superb wineries are all within a short distance. It’s fantastic and I can’t recommend highly enough.

Sadly, we were only able to stay here for one night. We wish we could have stayed here for a week, as it's the perfect place to reset your cylinders and just relax. All of the best that you would hope for in a Tuscan Villa, with the bonus of a farm-to-table restaurant to feed your soul. I didn't even need to order meat or pasta; I was in the clouds after enjoying the tomato carpaccio and burrata, followed by a creamy zucchini soup. The breakfast spread the next morning was equally as divine. As with many properties in the Italian countryside, it requires some crafty driving and patience to get here, but once you do, well worth the effort!

What a treasure to find this place, dry very remote up winding roads so don’t stay unless happy driving around hair pin bends! The food and staff were amazing. Loved Merliner and Tommy in the restaurant and the food was so lovely and all home made. Pool was refreshing and played tennis too. The grounds are lovely for exploring but no-where to walk to beyond that. Visit Sessetta and you also get a discount code for the nearby spa which was fantastic. Stayed as part of secret escapes with wine tasting. Perfect and go in early October to miss annual car rally when roads close.

Daniela and her husband Dino have a very beautiful place here. Tomaso and all the staff were very helpful and pleasant. We ate dinner every night there and it was very very good. Built in a The 1300'S, nice size bedrooms and very clean bathrooms. The service was very welcoming!! The poor was beautiful and many animals on the property to hike around and visit!! Thank you Daniella for a very nice visit

Lovely setting in the Tuscan hills, staff were most welcoming (Mustafa and Tomaso were fabulous) Food was amazing. Short distance to beaches and vineyards (car a must) Left feeling relaxed and refreshed Thanks

Spent 3 nights here this weekend and I can honestly say it is one of the most relaxing stays I have ever had. The staff are amazing, so helpful and kind. The food is of a high standard with plenty of choice. Normally we go to local restaurants but chose to eat at the hotel. The rooms are lovely and have authentic character. The proprietor was very welcoming and helpful We would highly recommend and would return

Beautiful and peaceful place, the staff are so friendly! Food is excellent! Everything is extremely clean! I highly recommend! The only fault! We should have booked longer! We stayed 3 nights, but 4 plus would have been even better! If you want peace and quiet, this is the place to come.

This is a beautiful farmhouse tucked away in the Tuscan country side. The staff bent over backwards to help and worked incredibly hard. Our room was quite small and seemed to be one of the few which didn't have a balcony which was slightly disappointing. The food at the hotel was pretty average, I'd recommend going into Sassetta or Bolgheri instead where there is more variety. Drinks were a decent price. I was very disappointed with the breakfast, where you had to pay a surcharge for omelette or scrambled eggs (and when you do, the portions are tiny). They also charge extra for the water in the mini fridge, but don't inform you of this anywhere which was a disappointing surprise at the end of our trip. Despite the above, it was a beautifully scenic place, with donkeys on the farmland and perfect for a relaxing trip. Hiring a car is an absolute must! I'd definitely recommend for any couples wanting a relaxing retreat away.
