Beautiful rooms in a beautiful building, surrounded by magic gardens, in turn surrounded by Sintra’s fabulous & imaginative gardens & baroque follies. Really comfortable beds, fresh & crisp bedding. Good substantial breakfast. Good evening meals with good wine. Charming hosts.

5 Star! Clean, great staff and a superb position. There is so much to say about this place. Just out of town but not too far to walk, it is just 5 mins from the Regaleira. The grounds are lovely with white peacocks and shady places to sit and relax in. The rooms are exceptional, large and very well decorated. The hotel has a small well equipped bar where you can serve yourself and have a chat and a sundowner. But right next door is a quirky, entertaining, pub to have a drink in if you want a bit more noise and bustle. Breakfast is very good and plenty of it. With a great choice of foods all served fresh and ready for when you want to have it. In your room or the small area downstairs. Dyane and the staff have done a great job here and I hope they reap the rewards of their work…

Incredibly special small place. Gardens are a pleasure for the senses. Great rooms, just six of them. Gardens are the closest you can get to a magical garden, with the old pool and fountain. We will come back soon hopefully. Do not miss it before it gets top of the city.

A secluded setting in a wonderful, magical town. Friendly, helpful, young staff. Wonderful views over green surroundings. Our 3 night stay in room 7 on the top floor came close to being a 5-star rave review, but for 4 things: • The historic plumbing results in a lingering smell in the bathroom. • Housekeeping didn't top up or replace the tea/coffee/soap/shampoo. • There were insufficient powerpoints & only 3 clothes hangers. • The upper floor is immediately adjacent to a historic pub, where loud Celtic music is played until midnight every Saturday...

Holy moly, this place is stunning!!!! I planned on staying one night, but loved my stay so much here I added another night. It is absolute heaven here, gorgeous grounds, beautiful rooms, lovely people, and the peaceful energy is palpable. I recommend this gracious boutique hotel to anyone who is visiting Sintra.

The building and grounds are as beautiful as they appear in the pictures. The location is next to one of the many palaces Sintra has to offer and it’s a quick walk into the historic town center. I cannot say enough about how lovely and accommodating the staff members are at this place. They went above and beyond to help us with anything we needed.

This is a charming hotel converted from a prior estate on national park grounds. The staff are extremely friendly and frequently provided assistance when needed. Wild peacocks stroll the grounds each morning. The rates are very reasonable given the quality of the hotel.

Fabulous boutique lodge set in the hills of Sintra, but not too far to walk to town. We stayed in a huge bedroom, tastefully decorated with a huge ensuite. The setting is magical and you feel a million miles from civilisation as you meander through the spacious grounds. A delicious breakfast is served and you can avail yourself of cooking facilities. The management is attentive, professional and welcoming. A great choice to chill out and feel the Sintra vibe

Amazing experience having our wedding celebration here with friends ! Beautiful venue and amazing staff! So chilled out - I can't thank everyone (esp. Shahadat) enough! This place is paradise, and we will be back to chill soon in the amazing natural gardens. Love the walk into Sintra village from here - past the Palace at Quinta de Regaleria. (Didn't have time to visit the gardens there this time, but I will do it again) Thank you so much ! Was here in December last year and knew it was meant to be for our friends to help celebrate our marriage in the summer as it was cool and breezy. We saw a few peacocks and wonderful flowers. The rooms are all so unique and fabously decorated. No mosquito bites at all - and I'm susceptible. Windows open all the time in the day ! Very clean.
