Majestic Hotel is ideally situated in the iconic Byzantine village of Pirgos presenting scenic views of the Volcan of Santorini’s and the whole Island The houses of the resort are made with lots of caring and the white of them contrasting the Aegean blue We felt the Greek filoxenia (Hospitality)and we definitely we are coming back ! We have spent a week in this beautiful hotel. I can only say good things about it. The staff was so helpful and courteous they couldn’t do enough for you. The owner was fantastic and kindly upgraded us to a beautiful luxurious suite. I would very strongly recommend this hotel.

Excellent service, fantastic location, and historically-interesting hotel. We booked a canava suite, which is a bit too cave-like (i.e., dark with no windows). Would book another room. Hard-working staff who were at the ready to help with getting cabs and any other services. They really try to make the experience as enjoyable as possible. Pygros is a really great town that is filled with stores and tavernas at every turn, and not nearly as crowded as other areas. Recommend the Zannos.

The bedroom looked really good, and also the private hot tub. What let it down was the wifi was not working which i mentioned 3 rimes but nothing got done to resolve. Same forvthe tv and fridge. Breakfast qas slow and too relaxed

The room was fine. Lack of staff at the reception. Poor assistance. No room service. No maintenance service. Inconvenient access. I will not recommend it.

I am saddened to report that my experience at Zannos Melathron Hotel in Santorini was nothing short of a disaster. From a complete lack of cleanliness to false advertising on their website and unprofessional staff, this hotel fell far short of the expectations we had when booking our stay. In fact, the experience was so appalling that we had no choice but to leave within 20 minutes of arriving and find alternative accommodation. Upon arrival at Zannos Melathron, we were greeted with an unwelcoming atmosphere and unprofessional staff. There was no sense of hospitality or warmth, and to our disbelief, they failed to even check us in properly. This immediately set the tone for the level of service we could expect during our stay. The lack of cleanliness at the hotel was astonishing. Our room was in a deplorable state, with stained linens, dusty surfaces, and an unpleasant odor that permeated the space. It was clear that the hotel's commitment to maintaining a hygienic and comfortable environment for guests was severely lacking. In addition to the unsanitary conditions, the information provided on the hotel's website was inaccurate and misleading. The amenities and services advertised were nowhere to be found, leaving us feeling deceived and frustrated. This blatant misrepresentation further fueled our dissatisfaction with Zannos Melathron. Attempts to communicate our concerns to the hotel staff were met with a lack of responsiveness and dismissive attitude. It seemed as if our grievances were of no consequence to them, which only served to heighten our disappointment and frustration with the entire experience. Ultimately, the substandard conditions and unprofessional treatment we encountered at Zannos Melathron Hotel left us with no choice but to leave within the first 20 minutes of our arrival. We were fortunate to find alternative accommodation, which thankfully salvaged our Santorini vacation. I strongly advise against staying at Zannos Melathron Hotel, as the poor service, lack of cleanliness, and false advertising on their website make for a truly regrettable experience. Save yourself the disappointment and book elsewhere.

Good location, especially if you are after something quiet. Easy bus connections to other parts of the Island i:e Thira and Perissa. Staff are really helpful and friendly and always approachable when needed. Especially hotel manager Christopher and his team. Important to keep in mind the location is on an uphill in the village therefore is not adaptable to anyone with mobility needs. Otherwise on a positive note hotel has the best views of the island.

The most recent reviews are positive for this hotel but older ones did concern me as the comments and photos were not positive at all. For that reason, I contacted the hotel and explained my concerns as I had booked before I had read them. Christopher was very honest and explained that he had only taken over the management of the hotel during the past year and his team were busy making improvements. He offered to take photos of our rooms next time they were vacated and if I was not happy then I could cancel with full refund. What great customer service!👍. The photos looked fine and since then we have messaged the team to ask questions about the surrounding area and the airport transfer etc and they have been so helpful. We go this week and will feedback on the hotel but I am sure I will be able to give good comments like the most recent guests have done! 😊

Since the first minute, we felt the hospitality of the whole staff. A tour around the Mansion was offered at check in. I was impressed about all the history behind this building. It is admire that still belongs to the Zannos family. The suites are big and spacious all of the different. Ours has two rooms, kitchen and spacious bathroom. The breakfast can be order in the room filling the menu request online the night before. The swimming pool has one of the best views of Santorini and is possible to see the sunset from any point. Pyrgos is quiet and in my opinion a gem of Santorini far from the mainstream Fira or Oia. Totally recommend this location if your plans are to move around the island.
