아플라다 스위트(Aplada Suites)

The property is absolutely stunning! Very well maintained with an incredible view of the sea. The location is really good - walking distance from some great views and eating spots. The host, Janis, was super friendly, and happy to oblige with some great conversation and recommendations. The staff was also pro-actively helpful in organising logistics between the port and property.

Amazing experience!! The hosts were super helpful and provided excellent local knowledge about the beauty spots and restaurant recommendations were simply perfect! The property itself is very modern and clean. Perfect for a romantic getaway.

Di persona avevamo pattuito una camera pagando cash ma arrivati il giorno dopo l aveva già venduta sostituendola con un'altra senza piscina nel seminterrato senza avvertirci. Juan molto molto disonesto. Dopo le ns proteste ci ha permesso di utilizzare la piscina delle altre camere. Poiché era solo x 2 notti abbiamo accettato. Le camere con piscina sono graziose l hotel si trova a pochi minuti dal centro ma per arrivare bisogna percorrere una strada solo a piedi di circa 100mt poco agevole non indicato a chi ha passeggini. Avevamo prenotato tramite il proprietario un taxi x portarci in aeroporto che ovviamente non è arrivato!!! Il proprietario inaffidabile e leggendo le altre recensioni non siamo stati gli unici. Per chi invece ha la fortuna di soggiornare nelle camere con piscina il pernottamento sarà gradevole. La pulizia delle camere lascia desiderate mentre gli spazi comuni risultano puliti. A noi il giorno dopo non è stata rifatta la camera. Dopo ciò io non ritornerei in zona esistono strutture molto più carine ad un prezzo inferiore.

Alpada Suites was a low point in our vacation and ruined what could have been a perfect time in Santorini. You can see in other reviews the hosts responding to people defending themselves and saying they weren’t bad, but they’re lying. The host who greeted us treated us poorly, asked us questions that were not appropriate, and made us feel uncomfortable throughout our stay. All of the rooms don’t have pool access, so beware of which one you choose. They canceled our review on Booking while we were still at the hotel, probably so that we could not leave a bad review there. When we were finally able to leave a review on Booking, they wrote us saying they would give us a refund if we took the review down.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Aplada Suites! Janis, Paz and the staff were AMAZING! We are of a mixed, multinational family and we were treated well and warmly! Our suite was amazing and the view totally splendid from sun rise through sunset. We even had a plunge pool right outside of our door! The location of Aplada Suites was phenomenal in that it was walking distance to the city center but yet secluded enough that when we returned from our adventures it was so peaceful and serene!!! We opted for the breakfast option and that was such a surprise treat because it was delivered right at our door and quite yummy!! :) When we needed something, both Janis and Paz were exceptional in their response and response time.

This is the first time I have ever left a negative review anywhere. Our stay was bizarre and bad to the point it put a bit of a damper on our entire time in Oia. The hotel canceled our reservation on *********** mid-way through our stay without explanation and never responded to us again. I wonder if it was to stop us from leaving a review there. Overall there were a lot of little negatives that really added up. The man working at the hotel complained that we arrived late (we got there at 4:30 pm) and made fun of us for not speaking Greek (we are from Mexico and the US). We spent about 30 minutes going back and forth with the owners over our request for an extra blanket as they demanded we explain why we wanted one instead of just saying yes or no. We had a similar experience over a wine opener. We had thought we would have access to the pools given the pictures, which we did not. Was our confusion, but be warned as the photos were misleading. Overall, it was just uncomfortable. If you are considering staying here, a couple of notes. It is a long walk from the street and steep on the way up, so if mobility is an issue, it is something to consider, though it really is beautiful and serene. As noted, the pools may not be available for you, so check! Also, it is possible to reach by bus easily. We did a bus from the airport to the center of Fira that was about 10 minutes and then another bus to Oia that was 15-20. Was much cheaper than a taxi.

So i came here for 3 nights by myself. Greated by Yiannis who was a true gentlemen so polite and friendly and was always there on the other end of phone. He is genuinly the nicest guy ever. The cleaner was always polite and happy and overall i felt really welcomed here. Paz did great comms through messages and recomended places ect. The communication was great and you can tell how proud they are of Aplada. The suit itself is stunning, literally a 4 min walk from the main spot but perfect as i had the best sleep ever no noise at all. The kitchen is well equiped and the bathroom is lovely. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds i have ever had and genuinly just a lovely stay. Breakfast was lovely and fresh and delivered to your door. Supermarkets like a 6min walk. I hired a car from airport and was about a 25min drive. Would I come back again…100%

Posto incantevole, servizio deludente. Ho soggiornato nella suite superior nella prima decade di agosto 2022. La struttura è in una posizione eccezionale: a pochi minuti a piedi dal centro di Oia e nel contempo appartata, gode di una vista mozzafiato sul mare (dalla vasca idromassaggio si può ammirare uno dei più bei tramonti dell’isola, con il sole che scompare dietro un isolotto). L’alloggio è molto bello, sia esternamente che internamente. Gli spazi sono ben distribuiti e gli arredi ed i servizi sanitari in buone condizioni. Alcune pecche, a mio parere gravi, visto il costo del soggiorno: la porta del bagno non si chiude, le zanzariere si aprono e si chiudono con difficoltà, e delle due camere da letto solo una è dotata di porta e di armadio, l’altra ha acceso diretto da una scala senza porta e manca di armadio e di cassetti. La colazione è varia e di buona qualità, viene servita nella struttura e va ordinata la sera prima. La pulizia delle camere è quotidiana, è buona ma non eccellente, e c’è disattenzione nel rifornimento (eravamo quattro e all’arrivo c’erano solo due teli per la vasca idromassaggio, e solo due cialde per il caffè, ed il giorno seguente abbiamo dovuto precisare che, essendo quattro, avrebbero dovuto ogni giorno rifornirci di quattro cialde per il caffè e non di due). La grande nota dolente è il servizio: Il personale è cortese e disponibile, ma poco efficiente: mancando la reception è necessario contattare gli addetti telefonicamente. Rispondono tardi e si attivano ancora più tardi. L’ultimo giorno ho chiesto la colazione alle 7:30 e non è arrivata in tempo, per cui, dovendo partire, l’ho saltata, avendo contattato gli addetti senza avere risposta. Ho chiesto una ricevuta per il pagamento della camera, mi è stato detto che mi sarebbe stata fornita al momento di lasciare la camera,ma così non è stato. Le criticità sbiadiscono rispetto all’incanto dell’isola e della posizione e bellezza della struttura, ragion per cui il mio soggiorno è stato eccezionale, ma, per il costo sostenuto, mi aspettavo di più.

Aplada Suites is located just outside the village, it is a 10 minutes walk to the bus station and the heart of Oia where you can watch the sunset. This means it is absolutely calm and offers privacy while not being too far off, which we very much appreciated. The hosts are extremely nice and approachable, Paz was even ready to help with restaurant reservations and advice on where to go for the maximum Santorini experience. We had a suite on the ground floor, I would book a suite with sea view though. Breakfast is served in the room, vegan options are available. If we go to Santorini next time, we'd choose this place again :)
