Simply fantastic the staff was exceptional and the breakfast was simply amazing.,the location of the hotel was strategic in fira and walking distance to ferostefani. Highly recommended hotel to stay.

Booked through Jet2.com this hotel is absolutely fabulous & firmly in my top 3 hotels to date (with the Arts, Barcelona & Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Dubai). The architecture is stunning and the decor truly beautiful. We had a first floor junior suite with a terrace located above reception. The room itself was huge and spotlessly clean with all the amenities you could wish for. We received a welcome cheese plate & bottle of wine which we enjoyed on the terrace the following day. The bathroom was amazing with the largest bath ever & beautiful toiletries which were replenished as and when required. Breakfast is incredible and probably one of the best hotel breakfasts we have experienced. We also ate at Selene which was wonderful and a must when staying at the Katikies Garden. The pool is a little oasis with 16 incredibly comfortable loungers & 5 cabanas. Towels are provided as is water. There was always availability and no need to rush to reserve your spot. The location of the hotel provides the perfect base for both Fira & Firastana with many shops, mini market’s & restaurants on your doorstep. Personal recommendations for food would be Mama’s & the Ginger Sushi Lounge (both reviewed separately). Finally, what makes the Katikies Garden so special? Well it’s the staff, each & everyone of them is outstanding in their customer service and made our stay perfect in every way - thank you.

A beautiful and charming hotel in Fira. Spacious rooms and tastefully designed facilities. High-quality service as expected from Katikies Hotels. It features the fantastic Selene, the best restaurant in Santorini, perhaps in Greece. Welcomes children of all ages. It's important to note, being in Fira, it doesn't offer a Caldera view, but it's a special alternative for families and couples seeking privacy in the Greek summer.

We have a wonderful stay at Katikies Garden. Our room is spacious and has a sun rise view. It is close to central Fira and a few steps from the Fira Imerovigli trail. The pool has a nice open view to the sea. If you are into wine, this hotel will impress you. There is parking inside the hotel. Breakfast is delicious. Selene restaurant at night is a must to experience. Highly recommended!

Stella and all of the staff made for a lovely stay at this beautiful property. I had left and item in Athens and Stella facilitated the transport with ease! She also worked to provide an upgrade when we felt we needed more room. The property was quiet and everything that we’d hoped for. Everyone treated us like family, especially when I was ailing for 24 hours. This property is beautiful, quiet, private and away from the busy tourist villages of Fira and Oia. Dining at both the on-site Koukoumavlos restaurant and at Selene (at their sister property) are highly recommended as well.

I can’t say enough about how beautiful this hotel is! I stayed there this past September with 29 of my family and friends for my daughter wedding! The hotel staff was incredible. Polite, kind respectful. The hotel is beautiful from the lobby to the court yard impeccable. The hotel rooms are divine. Everyone of my guest raves about the staff, the grounds the rooms. The food and drinks are incredible. Every morning breakfast is stupendous. Most of the rooms have private gardens and plunge pool, which give you your own private outdoor space. But the main pool is beautiful overlooks Santorini, poolside bar and pub food amazing. The hotel is located steps away from all the shops and restaurants. The hotel provided my guest and myself and the bride with a private transfer to the wedding at a minimal cost. So helpful! We spent the second week of our vacation on a different island and had to boat back to Santorini to fly home. We stopped into the Katikies just to thank them for their hospitality. If you are going to Santorini stay in style at the Katikies garden in Fira. You will remember it you whole life. Elizabeth Rapolla

We had very high expectations of Katikies having stayed there in Mykonos. WLH has 5 properties on Santorini, the garden being just one of them, located in Fira. The location was excellent, within walking distance to the square and the head of the Fira-Oia trail. Visilias (sp?)(William) was very helpful and knowledgeable, offering a property tour and suggestions for other destinations in Greece. As our stay was brief, we did not get to know the employees as we had in Mykonos; generally, they were far more formal and standoffish. Breakfast was lovely, and the restaurant was an award winning facility, even earning recognition from Michelin. We cannot vouch for that food or the wine tasting offered, as we did not partake of either. The hotel itself is a converted Monastery, so had a rather dark and quiet atmosphere. Our rooms indicated a “garden view”, but in fact we had no view at all. I suppose the “garden” was the sitting area with a jetted tub (not heated) before entering the actual room. A great property for couples or adult friends, with cash to spare and a taste for the more refined.
