빌라 갈리니아(Villa Galinia)

I wish I could rate this villa higher! We arrived early and were able to check in. This is the cleanest spot I've ever experienced on a vacation. The pool is beautiful, the views of the sea and coastline are perfect. Markets, restaurants and shops are within walking distance. The "staff" are not really staff.....they are a family. Eli was so welcoming and friendly! They serve the best hot breakfast....something different every day. The wife/mom is an excellent cook. She also cooks dinner at their restaurant which is like having a home cooked meal.....soooooo good! Our room with a balcony was perfect. The bed was comfortable and maid service daily. If you like walking, the old town of Akrotiri is a nice downhill walk......the walk back uphill is a nice challenge as well. I have to mention their adorable dog Sissi.....amazingly friendly! Highest of recommendations.

They were absolutely wonderful, we felt like we were home the entire time. Highly recommend!

Great views (recommend the upgrade to a room with caldera and/or sea view), comfortable room and friendly staff. Great location to base yourself in Santorini - you can see the entire island from Akrotiri, stunning in late afternoon/sunset light. You can pick up a quad from Ellinik next door - reliable agency and friendly owner. Minor points of improvement: pressure in the shower could be better, and perhaps fresh juices and a few more options for breakfast. Would happily stay there again!

The most amazing stay at Villa Galinia. The family that run the villa were incredibly welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation was clean, the breakfast fresh and tasty and the views simply stunning. I fell in love with my room & the location & will certainly be back again soon. Thank you!

The staff and owner could not be nicer, super helpful in arranging our taxi for an early morning departure and packing us a takeaway breakfast to go.

Small family run 14 bed hotel just 10mins walk outside the village. I stayed in room 2. White and clean with a great terrace and strong AC and shower. This hotel is really quiet and peaceful. Great food and so reasonable.They will organise airport pick up and drop off. A car is a must of you want to get to other parts but there are also paid boat excursions. I had family staying in Red Beach who had a car so worked OK. Emi is a gem. She is the daughter of the owner. Nothing is too much trouble. The whole family welcome is beautiful. Stay here for an authentic experience.

Very nice and quiet place. Clean and bright. Tasty breakfasts, but very similar every day. Nice and helpfull people. They can help you buy some additional trips, or organise shuttle from the airport. Next to the Vila is car rental with special prices for guests. We have spent there 7 days and loved it

Spent 3 nights here in June 2021. I thought the hotel was very good. I arrived via the airport and was about a 20 minute drive. The rooms were comfortable, though the air conditioner was a bit hard to figure out - it worked fine, just the remote was clunky to understand, and it was a bit noisy. The breakfast was decent and had a great view to the caldera. The room was simple, but well put together. It had drying racks for clothes. Shower was great with good water pressure. A couple suggestions: 1) extend the hours of the pool, especially during the summer since people are staying up later to see the sunset, but can't enjoy the pool because it closes at 8. 2) I paid by card when I arrived, but they did seem to have a strong preference for cash, even asking me to pay the next day or at check out in cash, but I wanted to use my card and they were fine with it. Maybe it was me being jetlagged and misinterpreting the situation though.
