빌라 보르도(Villa Bordeaux)

The villa is small, with only a few rooms. It feels like you are in a luxurious residence and not a hotel. At the same time, the service is top notch and they are able to accommodate any request. It is perfectly located below the main shopping area, and next to the donkey walking path leading to the sea below. The views are jawdropping... and the accommodation is superb. We chose a villa with pool and were thrilled with the offerings. The hotel restaurant is an unforgettable gem and worth a visit.

Amazing stay. The property and our accommodations were excellent. Did we mention the views! Superb. Dinner at the restaurant was amazing! This property was a splurge for our 20th anniversary and 100% worth it. Communication and assistance from all the staff was top notch. Only felt bad for the porter who had to drag our luggage on a cart through the maze of streets while we followed him.

My husband and I visited the restaurant at this hotel in August 2023. It was an amazing experience. Delicious food with excellent serving! The dessert was actually something incredible! A very original idea in an amazing execution, have never seen anything like that before! I would rather say that it was more like a piece of art than a dessert . Definitely worth it to try! I chose menu with the wine pairing and never regretted the choice I made: wine complimented food very good! The staff there was very friendly and helpful! We appreciated very much not only the service during the dinner but also that they helped us with some photos :) We strongly recommend this place at least as a place where you can have a delightful dinner with a stunning view and charming ambience!

The hotel has been on our bucket list since we visited Santorini for the first time in 2019. We have seen many pictures and videos on social media, and I have to say it was one of the rare occasions, when the expectations met with the reality, and even exceeded them. The hotel is small and feels like a luxurious weekend house. It has only with only four suites. We managed to stay at the Aqua Suite, which has a huge jacuzzi with a perfect view of Fira on both sides and the sea as well. The suite is modern and has all the nice small touches, which makes a place feel at home. Small, cozy reading corner with a Bang & Olufsen sound box, lights hidden on the floor for the warm ambiance, a steam room, and of course, the hot water pool/jacuzzi facing the caldera with the best sunset views in Fira.

We just recently spent two nights at Villa Bordeaux and it was hands down one of the most unique hotel experiences we've ever had. The hotel has a great location in the heart of Fira so it's very easy to reach and it's also just steps away from the best restaurants and bars. There are only four rooms in Villa Bordeaux so the whole stay felt very private and secluded. We stayed at the Aqua Suite and the view from the suite was out of this world. On one side, you have a view of the town of Fira and on the other side, the volcano and the sea. The private hot tub on the terrace was the cherry on top! The included breakfast was really amazing and we also had dinner one time at La Colline Restaurant which was easily the best meal we had in Santorini. I can't imagine a better place for a honeymoon or a romantic trip!

Staff was very good and responsive. From the transportation from airport to the property, the luggage porter, the ladies at the front desk, the bar service at the pool and all wait staff were terrific. Food and service at the restaurant were amazing. The housekeeping team did a terrific job providing a clean room with all the towels you need. Everything you needed was well coordinated by the staff. The sunset views were spectacular and you have a great front row seat on your private terrace.

This is truly a faultless hotel. It’s definitely expensive but we felt it was worth every penny. Despite its very central location in Fira and that you are a stone throw away from the lively party centre, once inside the villa you cannot hear any noise and can enjoy the tranquility and the enviable, unobstructed views the villa has to offer. We stayed in the terra suit which has its own private pool and a view of the caldera. We were told that it was a 19th century mansion which had been converted into an exclusive 8 room hotel. Whoever was in charge of the renovation and interior design did a phenomenal job as we couldn’t stop admiring all the design and amenities offered inside. I would go breakfast included, we were spoilt for choice. Everything is freshly prepared to the highest standard and the Greek pastries were our favourite. We found that post Covid, most 5 star hotels have lacked in their service however the staff here went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic stay. They even organised a private tour of the island for us on the last day which meant we got to see Oia and Pyrgos properly. Staff met us with none alcoholic drinks when we arrived, it was homemade lemonade which was lovely. We do not consume alcohol and they went out of their way to ensure we had a none alcoholic celebratory drink as we were there for our wedding anniversary. We were reluctant to eat at the restaurant given previous reviews however I’m so glad we booked it! Their restaurant is absolutely stunning and we watched the most amazing sunset. The entire ambiance of the restaurant is relaxing, unwinding and peaceful which is what you want when watching a sunset! The food was lovely too and I think it’s a must to dine here one evening at least!
