Hotel Sol y Mar

The owners of this hotel are the most trashy, disrespectful business owners I have ever experienced. They threw a party in the parking lot of the hotel right under our room and blasted music and yelled until 1 A.M. We asked at 11 PM if we could change rooms to one further away from the music since the party wasn't going to stop. They refused even though there were empty rooms. In the morning there was no water and we had to wait 3 hours after waking for the water truck to come fill the tanks so we could shower and flush the toilet. The room was Ok. Basic and at least the mattress was comfy, but the owners don't care at all about giving people a restful place to sleep or water to wash with. I just felt bad for the film crew working on a Netflix shoot that were there and had to get up early to go to work after bad sleep and no water to wash with in the morning. I'm just blown away by this disgusting treatment of paying patrons of a hotel and have never in all my time traveling in Mexico had such an awful experience. Don't give them your $700 pesos.
