The most beautiful setting, very peaceful and tranquil. A very picturesque Italian setting. Our apartment was separate from the main building, but that suited us well. Breakfast was fresh every day & always delicious. Our room was spacious, and kept clean every day. The pool area was lovely and had a small pool for children which was perfect. We hired a car & there was plenty of space to park our car. Highly recommend & would love to stay again if we visit Lucca again.

Stayed in a family room located on the top floor of the main villa, family room had plenty of space, comfy beds, desk and Fridge. Breakfast lovely and fresh, staff helpful and responsive, grounds lovely to walk around and take photos of surrounding Tuscan countryside, a great pool, little village close by and Lucca a short drive away, a really enjoyable Tuscan experience, great place for family and friends to travel to as so much space for everyone and staff accommodating, good service from beginning to end.

The Villa is so beautiful we want to get married there! Beautiful property, fantastic staff, breakfast was heavently, and so was the diner and wine. I am a complete food snob and I have never had such a fantastic holiday. Great air conditioning and very comfortable beds! Thank you for having us!

This was the most beautiful accommodation we’ve ever stayed in. The pictures do not do it justice. It is absolutely stunning. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the pool area was clean and picturesque. The woman who checked us in on Saturday September 30, 2023 was so friendly and helpful, and she also served us our dinner that night when we came down to eat after relaxing by the pool all day. She was a wonderful and kind member of staff that was clearly working very hard all day. The sunset during our dinner was gorgeous, and the pasta dishes we got were amazing. My only regret is that we only stayed here for one night before moving on to Lucca city centre- next time we will definitely extend our stay at this little piece of Tuscan heaven.

Beautiful building, pool, and well-maintained grounds in a lovely setting in the Tuscan countryside. Our room was at the top of the building, up several flights of narrow stairs - it's definitely not a suitable property for anyone with mobility issues. No tea or coffee making facilities were available in our room, despite requesting these prior to arrival - and there was no fridge. The breakfast was ok, but not great - they'd run out of various things by 9am and these weren't replenished. I had to request a coffee at the bar and wasn't offered a second. Main complaint - very loud euro-dance music outside on the terrace until at least 2am (on a Sunday night) and an uncomfortable folding bed with a sagging mattress to sleep on (it was advertised as a triple room) meant I got very little sleep. I mentioned the loud music to the receptionist upon checking out and she just shrugged her shoulders in a disinterested sort of way and said she wasn't there in the evenings. The staff all appeared to be local teenagers and seemed to spend most of their time ambling about the table football game outside, not sure how the place is actually managed or run.

I booked this villa back in March for a stay in July. This was a very important stay as i arranged with the hotel to prepare for me the Portico so i could propose to my partner. The receptionist took my vision, quoted it, and executed it perfectly! It truly was amazing and as i imagined. The staff were very friendly, the bar was cheap, the pool was clean and the location private and relaxed. Taxis are expensive to/from Lucca town to the Villa (50 euro)! We didnt have a car so were relying on train/taxi. But we actually got a bus back to Lucca as advised by the staff (only 1 euro 50!!!). I stayed in the superior room and it was certainly large with a large modern bathroom. The room was rustic and had a fridge which was handy. Considering this was a 3 star hotel it really is fantastic value for money. I can see more potential i this venue and i'm sure the owner will invest more into the rooms as the world recovers from covid. we will be back!!!
