Other reviews say it all... very well located in the heart of the old district.. easy walk or bike ride almost anywhere in SS. Loud with windows open, but very good insulation when closed. Shared bathrooms not an issue, clean and almost always available except for late night shower cue. We had issues with the check in that 'cost us' an extra day car rental. After clear agreement as to when we'd be checking in (pre-arrangement is required), no one was there to receive us. We wasted critical time trying to drop our belongings at the property which ended up costing us money. My biggest frustration was the host Jonathan basically blaming US .. finding every excuse for THEIR failure to keep their commitment to let us in. Why didn't you phone? [i had phoned an hour earlier to confirm], the maids must have been using the Hoover and not heard [i was banging at the inner door for 15 minutes], etc. etc. Overall very frustrating and no customer service orientation to repeatedly 'come back' at me with all I did wrong. [we also had a issue with the room not being made up between nights, for which i was also blamed].
