First, the good things: the hotel is well-located for visits to the Valley of Temples (and for trips along the south coast); the building itself is good, with several nooks and crannies for huddles; our bedroom and bathroom were fine, and were kept clean; the pool was lovely, and the grounds beautiful. But the hotel is let down by the kitchen. Breakfasts were adequate, though let down by poor coffee and 'hot' water for tea that really wasn't hot. (My tip: order a cappuccino from a waitress.) Evening meals were mediocre at best. As members of a group we had to order 24 hours in advance, though a fish dish turned out to be chicken, and they ran out of the dessert we had ordered. To be fair, the meals improved after the first night, though they were never particularly good. In my barely adequate Italian: È un buon albergo? È un buon edificio, ma la cucina non è molta buona.
